I loved watching BYU play on TV last year. They’ve really become a top ten program with their NBA coaching staff and their amazing fan base. Well done 👍🏽
AJ's parents have made multiple visits to BYU including their first visit before he even registered to go to Utah Prep. He's also made several trips to BYU already including with his parents and on his own. This all occurred over the past 3 months. I don't hear reports of them making multiple trips to other schools.
BYU is a legit player for top end HS basketball talent going forward. They just have so much to offer a kid who is looking for 1 or 2 years of development and then off to the NBA.
Mannequit just put out a top 7 I think and BYU is there. That’s major. That’s his new teammate and his teammate from USA. I think it comes down to UNC and BYU
A lot of this hinges on BYU playing well this year. I'm a little concerned there will be growing pains. Lots of pressure on a first year coach and young talent
BYU is getting some of the best college recruits now that Young and Burgess are coaching there. Egor Demin from Russia is just a freshman and is a passing phenom and teaming up with him could really set AJ apart from other NBA prospects.

I think the success of BYU this year will also attract Aj, especially if Egor Demin goes in the lottery and Kanon Catchings 1st round like projected..
It's not just BYU's HC, it's the staff and everything else available at NBA level.

BYU is insane out of all the schools he could go too
