Big thank you, señorita Woolly! I finished today - took me two weeks! I’m very happy with it. Your teaching has taken me from beginner to advanced beginner. ❤
OMG! You put a smile on my face this morning 😃 I’m very happy for you. Thanks for letting me know, and don’t forget to share the L❤️VE 😉 Enjoy your knitting journey!
My knitting skills are fairly basic, so I didn't know if I would be able to knit a cardigan for my first grandchild (due later this year), but with your help, I managed it and am pleased with the way it turned out . Thank you so much.
I can't wait to get the needles to try making this sweater for a young couple who is expecting their first baby (a girl). I have a feeling that I will be watching a great deal of your UA-cam videos. Your instructions are so well done, unlike any other videos i have ever seen previously except for a woman who has a UA-cam Crochet channel by the name of Bonnie Barker, whose UA-cam channel is called "Bonnie Bay Crochet". She too, (Bonnie) has an amazing way about her amazing instructions. I am just learning to knit. I am 67 yrs young. Thanks so much!
Thank you for this tutorial. I have followed both parts and successfully made a baby cardigan for the first time. I was a little intimidated but I'm very happy. Thank you for making this tutorial ❤
You're an amazing teacher with tons of patience. Started knitting recently. Your tutorial is the best, boosted my confidence to go ahead with your detailed instructions. Thanks a ton. Shall post once I'm done with my cardigan 😊
You are amazing. Thank you for this video. As a first time knitter you have given me the confidence . I’m at the moment starting the front piece of the cardigan.
Congratulations and thank you for your comment! Don’t forget to share a picture of your Cardigan on Instagram or Twitter (@sowoolly) and mention me! I love to see the result 😉
I would like to say a big thank you for your tutorial. I am new to knitting and really wanted to knit something for our first grandchild. The cardigan has turned out well.
Thank you so much for these great videos and nicely paced clear instructions. I am not a great knitter but this was very straight forward. I love your accent and your nails too 😃🧶🪡👏
Lovely just perfect 👌 I finished knitting 🧶 today according to your instructions the baby cardigan came out beautiful your teaching is super cool thanks 🙏
Hi SO WOOLY. Your video tutorials are so easy to follow. I have NOT tried this particular cardigan. The strip you knitted was a continuation for the neckband. Wow great idea. Gotta get some courage to knit this cardigan. It's so adorable and YOU TOO. Your voice is CALM and STRESS FREE. Thanks for sharing and caring and helping 😟 "scared" knitters to gain confidence. 👍👍👍🌞🌞💕 hugs.
@@sowoolly Hi. I guess the angels sent me to your prestigous UA-cam channel. Thanks for taking HOURS OF YOUR PRECIOUS TIME, knitting and posting your videos on UA-cam. I am learning from your knitting tutorials to KNIT SMALL. My 15 month Newfoundland is too big to sport on these cardigans and my unique grandson is 6 years. This is a beginners learning channel. You said it, PERSEVERANCE is the key to success. Your big fan from France. love and Hugs.
Hello SO WOOLLY You are such an amazing teacher, the tutorials are so easy and I have just finished the project.. and I love your Nails 💅🏻💅🏻too My slight challenge was knitting the bits together 🙈 but I got there in the end . Many thanks 👏👏👏
Thank you for the great pattern! Let me preface this comment by saying this is the first thing I have knit since a very plain blanket 10 years ago, I am very much an amateur knitter and I really have no idea what I'm doing 😄 This pattern was so easy to understand though and I wanted to make it to fit my 16 month old. I used 6mm needles and 12 ply yarn. I added four more rows to the front panels and back and a few extra to the sleeves (I measured them against my daughters arms), as well as a couple extra garter rows to the neck pieces. Well it actually turned out brilliantly and I can't wait to start my next knitting project! Thanks again!!!
Thank you for such a wonderful video. I learned so much. I made it in several colors. I was wondering if you have a video planned in the future adding a shawl collar or a hood on this pattern?
Amazing pattern, however the instructions on your website for the left front stockinette stitch is different to the ones you show in the video. Every other pattern piece the instructions match
Hello, just to let you know on the written pattern, on a purl decrease row it says knit 2 instead of purl 2. Love the pattern though and the video to help 😀
You can find it on my website (soywoolly.net), and there’s a link for your below every video, on the description box: sowoolly.net/how-to-knit-a-baby-v-neck-raglan-cardigan-step-by-step/
Awesome instruction. I am a novice knitter and was able to follow you easily.. have you any more easy tutorials. I would also love to know how to size up 👍👍😊
You are a great teacher really thank you very much .. But it turned out it is small ij size and tight when i finished it .. If I want the sweater will be more suitable to the baby, shall I muliply the number of every bundle of stitches by a constant ??? l hope I get an answer soon .. thank you so much one more time 👍🏻
Thank you very much now you put all pieces together under stand better , before could not under stand the back part how to join it together. I will try to make it and let you know thank you
Hi there got to the end of the cardigan the left piece and after 5 attempts realised the written section is wrong but luckily I just stick to the video lived knitting my first cardigan tx
Hi, Can you tell me why the buttons dont look like they are spead out evenly? I really want to try this as a beginner but its sending my ocd through the roof
This tutorial you showed very nice but could not under stand how join it together when all part done. Two sleeves and back and two fronts join together for v neck rectangular. Could you please show again when making v neck thanks
Adeline Edgecombe When you start the 28 rows of the Stocking st. You knit the second button hole in the 3rd row. The 3rd button hole is in the 13th row and the 4th one is in the 23rd row. Hope that helps you out?!
Hello 😁 is there by chance a printing error for the 8,9,12 & 13th row of the sleeve? from the pictures it looks like stocking stitch (alternate K & P rows in between increases) but the instructions appear to be different.
Please help me . I have knitted the back side of the cardigan decreesed 3 stitches on each side whats next? Part two is about the left side.how do i end the back after decreasing do i have to knit more rows? Im waiting for your reply.Raglan cardigan

Thanks for a great tutorial. The pattern is perfect but = the video link to 'block and stitch this sweater' that you've give us above, leads to another pattern.
Only for demonstration purposes (to make the stitches bigger, so everybody can see clearly what I do). If you take a look at the written pattern, you’ll see that the cardigan is made using only one strand
