Loving the series. Stuff to do: -Castle on the upper pond. -Smash the wasps' nests. -Complete the MIXRs for that door in the black ant nest. -Invesitgate chasms in the former gas zone for the true boss of the game.
THAT'S where that boss was. I was trying to remember where that was at. Yeah, I hope they go find it. Granted, the door at the back of the pond is new to me, no idea what THAT does.
Being vauge but guiding 1)explore the castle more in depth 2) definitely get that burgle chip 3) cut down the spiky ball weeds 4) last i knew there should be an interesting hole somewhere in the gas lands
I think I'll try giving advice nobody else has given that I've seen: *The pond back wall has some cool stuff underwater *Try looking at the wall next to the milk carton *the brick wall behind the big box in the upper yard has an item high up on a brick *Theres a wad of gum in the wall after climbing the vines atop the ladder. *Theres a chest in the fallen tire. *Theres a particularly stubborn wad of gum in the toolbox. *The shallow lake between spawn and the hedge has a tunnel in it near shore under a leaf. Look for clovers on the shore *Try rolling a 20 on the D20 in the maze *The cave near upper yard ascent full of ladybird larva as well as the fire ant nest are full of upgrade materials; they're practically goldmines. Good luck lads! I really love this game so I'm glad you had so much fun!
Alright so for what you should do now you should do wasp. You unlock they area by destroying some of their small nest(two or three) and than sleeping. It will trigger a cutscene. After that you can do castle mordoc. Do not do castle mordoc now because it unlocks another thing that you need to have done the wasp before for it and it would be a spoiler. Btw to enter castle mordoc you need to build a bridge. Fire anthill is also a thing but its mainly to upgrade your armor. There also the mixer if you want. Than you should do what castle mordoc unlocks and than you can do the javamatic. A warning for the javamatic. Prepare a lot of mushroom bricks and i mean a lot. Like 4 times your house for it.
Before you do the final mission, be sure to go to the orc castle and be sure to bring Wendell with you. There's a secret boss there that not only gives you one of the best sour weapons in the game but also gets you the best ending
Spoiler (maybe?) for how to get into the bin I guess, idk where or if it’s told in game but yeah :p If you wanna get into the bin (where one of the chips is as well as something else quite special), you’ll need to make the wasps very mad at you, like killing them and breaking their nests. So have fun :3
33:45 alright i just need to inform you guys on this before you accidentaly do it because it would destroy your current run. This area is for a feature of the game called new game plus. Basically you restart the game but its now harder. There are some changes like stronger enemies and new weapon and its basically also tied to infecting the ant queens but its something you guys dont need to do to complete the game. Maybe you could just do it to check it out in the final episode but know that you should collect all the molars because they arent present in new game plus.
Everyone seems to got it down for what you guys should still do. But I wanted to add some stuff to make it a little easier for you. 1st. mix and match your armor, look for the bonuses they give you so you can make builds. For instance, there is one where if you wear all Ladybug armor upgraded sleek you gain a healing buff. On top of that between the hedge and the house porch there is a electric socket with a skeleton. They have a badge that gives heals you if you make a perfect block. The badge also makes you take more damage if you miss however. Then use the tiger mosquito rapier upgraded as high as you can. Bring some healing potions along and you have a decent immortal build. Though to help with the perfect block throw on Parry Master Mutation. Anyway other than this little bit of info, that door you found in the end of this episode just takes you to New Game+. Though I do have a challenge for you both to do before you finish this playthrough. There is a certain tunnel of web in the infected zone. There's a boss down there who is TRUE DARKSOULS! Good luck.
1) You have to fight the wasps to unlock the last Burgl chip. The wasp queen is also there. 2) You have to have Wendel with you and do the Castle. 3) You have to build fortifications for the Java-matic. 4) Once you have done all that, there is a secret tunnel by the flowers by the pond. There's a stump that is in the water surrounded by mosquitos and flowers. Once you have done the Java-matic, the Broodmother, the Orchid Mantis, and the Wasp Queen, it will unlock. You will find a fun surprise in there. I recommend it highly. 5) Also. Do all the Mix-rs
Across from the milk carton there is a secret lab with a tier 3 weapon in the trashcan of the lab. You need to defend the 3 pink capsules build mushroom walls and prepare to defend before getting your cocktail. Attack the wasp piss them off and the brawny bin with the last BURGL chip will open. Good luck guys and keep up the awesome work
As far as the field station respawn goes, I think you have to interact with the analyzer in order for it to register as a spawn point (don't have to actually analyze anything, just open the interface).
As someone else said. Id recommended exploring more of castle moldorc. Also theres another boss in the haze area... id recommended massively preparing for that boss
So just so you know, the door with the bosses on it is to do with unlocking new game+ (which you actually get new stuff in and get even more new stuff in new game ++). The game doesn't end when you brew the cocktail and you do get a point of no return save point as well, so you can still come back to the yard and do stuff! Castle Mordoc would probably be the best one to do next (some sick stuff in there). Also getting a new type of ant pet doesn't get rid of the last one, so Antilles is still out there....somewhere....waiting. Thank you so much for doing this series, it is one of my favourite games and we have loved every minute of you both playing it. Would love to see you return to this game for building, custom playground maps etc in the future!
Just gonna say that if you go through the process of getting the Embiggening cocktail made at the Javamatic machine (and it IS a PROCESS), and then use the cocktail right away as soon as it’s made, you’ll get the bad ending for the game. The good ending involves THOROUGHLY exploring that toy castle on the eastern side of the yard at some point before using the embiggening cocktail to return to normal size.
Please make more funny moments videos of you boys playing together. Your guides are good but this is way more entertaining for when I just want to watch something to relax.
There’s a really cool and familiar looking hole in the toxic fungus area, but make sure you check that castle very throughly first before going there to look for it!
The stuffed creatures give bonus loot drops when you interact with them. The heads on the walls give bonus damage. The mant mutation is amazing for fights, as it draws attention off of you for easier revives. Also, a tunnel has now opened up in the now gas free zone
16:53 omg they did the perfect block cheese without even being aware of it existing. A better recomendation on how to fight black widow is upgrade your armor and have smothie done with muscle sprout. Honestly i have been chanlegging everything in grounded recently after a long time and the black widow was the worst. The other bosses were easy but the black widow was a nightmare. Thought the moment i got a sour weapon she became easy.
13:45 its because they re-tuned it after changing the set bonus on the armour, the skill is like omnipotent or something and it just made it suuuper busted levels of fast😅 there are 2 more boss fights and I highly advise going to the assistant manager door in the sandbox 😊
i just realized that this really is like their monster hunter playthroughs, josh uses big sharp stick for big damage and cotton has to use all the elemental stuff to cover for weaknesses
Definitely explore the castle thoroughly before going into the endgame! Also, smash all the wasp nests! And taking a look at some of the trenches in the haze could prove useful...
Loving this series. Grounded is one of my favorite games. I'm pretty sure can duplicate trinkets. You probably don't want to spend the time on this, but there are meta builds in grounded out there for weapons, armor, and mutations that could help with the upcoming bosses. Also you may want to start making a bunch of mushroom bricks for one of the last parts of the game.

The door at the end is for new game + however I do recommend you guys enter NG+ and exploreing a little bit because it does actually change around some things in the back yard
Do the Java machine first, then piss off the wasps. Then go back to the hole you went to but before you do the Java machine peep an O.R.C and find out what it’s weak to. Good luck tiny adventurers!
You guys RUSHED through this game. There's a lot to explore and upgrade. You missed the gem beetles in the tube under the shed. There's also the wasps and wasp queen boss, and the castle. As for the end, your first attempt will probably fail, so feel free to give it a shot if you want. In my experience, you need to prep a lot to succeed.

the fact they farmed black widow to get pond moss is great, considering you can just pick up pond moss in the lower pond without a dagger

The lizard was cut the files for it has been ther for a year

ah the black widow. pretty much is a boss.
i have only beaten them one way.
get parry heal trinket
then parry heal and beat it to death.
shield is also a good option as it blocks all damage unlike 2 hand damage.

I'm not sure but the wasp Queen Is somewhere 😅
You guys should try out Soulmask, it's fun and would probably last you until Wilds
