- In the second part of my header fabrication series I'm finishing up both headers for the 6.4 Hemi swapped C10! Follow along as I TIG weld these stainless headers to acheive a custom fabrication fit! I'm really happy with how this project is progressing so far, let me know what you guys think!

Headers look amazing! Reminds me a little of the old school exhaust manifolds of a 413/426 max wedge

Those look nice man 👍 you better clean that engine bay to match they deserve their own little showroom. After you built the first header, I was going to say, the last 2 tubes at the front of the engine should have been reversed on the collector, but then you did just that on the second header. They look tough! Awesome job!

Excellent fabrication, looks great and should bolt on without too much trouble from underneath. Looks easy compared to headers on a LX chassis Mopar vehicle......
That's the truth! I've got a new vehicle for the channel coming soon 2010 challenger, and I'm doing headers on that vehicle, but I'm taking the heads off to do it because I'm also doing a cam swap 👍
@@ReignitedAuto there y'go, bolt the headers on the heads while they are off, real easy to set them back on the engine w/headers attached.

They look good but my guess would be you're going to have issues with the primaries hitting the frame when the engine torques on the mounts. It seemed really tight on the driver's side, but it might be just the video making it look that way. I am hoping for the latter for your sake. It would suck having to dent them to get more clearance but on the flip side it won't hurt performance just looks.
It is pretty close, I was actually going to clearance the frame itself a little bit too protect them, but also the style of engine mounts I made don't have much give, do I should be ok.

Good work there! They look great. One question, they are really close to the frame rails, do you think they will bang against the frame when the engine rocks back and forth on the rubber mounts?
Thanks Martin! They are pretty close, and I'll be clearancing the frame just a little bit, but if you watch the earlier episodes I built some custom engine mounts that don't have a lot of movement, specifically not a lot of side to side movement, check out those episodes if you get a chance! 👍

I haven't thought about it too much, I generally like to have my engines pretty understated though.
How do the spark plugs look in there? Hope they fit well!! The headers look great!!
The beautiful thing about the Hemi is the spark plugs go right on top of the valve cover, so I didn't have to have any consideration for them while building these headers! Thanks for watching 👍

How much clearance did you need between header pipes and frame for normal engine mount flex/movement?
It's pretty tight for sure. I'm going to clearance the frame very slightly for one of the runners, but the design of engine mounts that I used will not allow for much movement if any. Thanks for watching! 👍
How do you seal the center area where the four pipe enter the collector?
The collectors come with a 4-star shaped little stainless piece that you weld to the center where the pipes come together, I should have shown that in the video. Thanks for watching! 👍
