I have to perform this song in less than a week, I don't know some of it, I'm nervous! Thanks for posting this, it helped. :)
Not sure why i have the same book but only till amazing grace, these last few songs aren't included
Nice, I need help playing this song, it's hard playing with both hands.
+Lufa Can you tap the rhythm with both hands at the same time? It could be a co-ordination issue. Once you can tap the rhythm, paying attention to where you hands both play notes at the same time and where they don't (i.e. it might go together together left right together), it should be easier to play hands together. I hope that helps! :
Ah tapping the rhythm, I think I can do that. When I try to play with both hands I stop in the middle of the song a lot and freeze up lol my dominant hand is my left but the melody is played with the right hand so sometimes I wonder if it's easier if your dominant hand is the right hand.
+Lufa Nup! I've taught lots of lefties and it doesn't affect them at all. There is probably something else making you stop then. Practice the middle bit by itself and try to work out what the problem is. A hand position change, the fingering, a difficult rhythm? Practicing super, super slowly for a bit can help too.
tinymozarts The fingering is definitely something I need to work on, my teacher teaches a whole class and she doesn't really have time to go over fingering techniques I guess, that's probably why I keep stopping in the middle of songs because my fingering is very awkward. Practice, practice, practice.
I can play this song
