Many Thanks for posting... Frank was a bright part of my- and my brother Tim's- childhood as The Riddler. Tim would dress up as R whenever we would play Bats...
Frank was a smooth crooner, which is a high compliment from me as that's my favorite type of singing.

What a great lost song , such a sleeper. This is quintessential crooning at its best. I stumbled across this tune by accident a few years ago. It has a mild melancholy, haunting feel to it. I am looking for a copy to add to my jukebox. Frank was such a talented man, it makes me sad to think he's gone. From what iv'e gathered Frank was a real decent guy which is rare in Hollywood. as i grow older i wax nostalgic for the good old days when our country was more innocent. We didn,t lock our doors, Our parents let us run around the neighborhood unsupervised. At 9 years old My friends and i would ride our bicycles for miles, We didn't have much money when i was little but it didn't matter, life back then was more simple. You could sit as a family and watch tv for the evening together, the songs on the radio were positive and uplifting. What ever happened to us? Anyways thank you Frank Gorshin for sharing your great talent with us. See you on the other side.

I remember seeing Mr. Gorshin singing Chicago's "Does Anyone Really Know What Time It Is?" on some TV show many years ago. I was surprise by how excellent he was. 'Twas a very powerful performance.

I always knew of his impressions, and he was the Riddle on the Batman TV show, but I never knew he could sing until I came across this very site during 2009 or 2010.He sang real good, and this song is pretty.I wonder why it was never on the radio. Michael Landon also sang a few songs on 45rpm, when he was young, around 1958 or so, and sang well. One is on You Tube.

He was in a Broadway musical in 1969, "Jimmy," in which he played Jimmy Walker, the mayor of New York from the 1930's. There was an album of the show in which he sang about a half dozen songs. I have it.. It's pretty good. He was a favorite of mine too.

He was very talented. His famous laugh on Batman used to make my ribs hurt from my laughing. Some of you over 40 might remember the late 1970s movie "Sky Hiest" in which he played a villain that stole a huge amount of loot under the noses of police. Pretty good movie for its time.

Greatest impressionist that ever lived, quality over quantity. Most people know him as "The Riddler", but when I was young, I would watch him on Sullivan and he was just amazing. His Kirk Douglas, Burt Lancaster and Richard Widmark impressions were sick. I'm sure he had a pretty good career by most standards, but I don't think he was as big as he should have been. Amazing talent. I wish I could turn it back to '68 and tune in Sullivan to see him once more.

featured in the 25 Jun 1966 issue. The song was written by David Gates,
in the credits he appears as "David A. Gates". In 1975 Gates decided to record it himself for his second solo album.
