- How do we know that the baby has dropped and wiped off the baby category? Today Dr Swapna chekuri, Best Fertility Specialist in Hyderabad explains in detail what is Baby Dropping in this video.
In Medical terminology we call Baby Dropping as lightening. Baby dropping means that the baby's head which rests above the pelvic cavity has now come inside the pelvis. And this is a sign that the passage of delivery is now ready. That means your body is getting ready for delivery.
When does baby dropping start?
When we are pregnant for the first time then baby dropping happens at a different time and when we are pregnant 2 or 3 times then baby dropping happens at a different time. It has no predictions. Sometimes the elders of our house see this. When our baby bump is reduced, then they tell that the delivery is now going to happen in a week or 2 weeks. Baby dropping starts up to eight and a half months.
When we are pregnant for the first time, then baby dropping happens before delivery. It occurs before delivery in about 80% of mothers.
How do we know that the baby has been dropping?
1- It is easy for us to breathe.
2- When the baby descends, then the uterus gives pressure on the mouth.
3- In our pelvis, a lot of pressure is felt in the lower part.
4- Going to the bathroom frequently.
5- Pain starts in the lower part of the pelvic.

Hi mam, I came here due to breech presentation of the baby at 33 weeks in growth scan. Can I hope everything will be fine by the time of 39 weeks!? Doctor told if it is like that @39 weeks need to go for c-section. My first delivery was normal. At that time no scanning taken during this time. I'm able to feel the movements of the baby well. During nights it is actively moving. In the mornings I feel like baby is stucked under my right side ribcage. Please respond once.

Baby head fix ayipoy move avledu push cheytnki raledu. Meanwhile heart rate taggipotndi ani C section chesaru. Don't think of anything.just move on with situation.
