We used to live next to moorabbin oval , my son used to go to the training he was six at the time , plugger took a liking to him and used to show him how to mark using his bulk as my spn was chunky but fit and taught him the drop punt and torpeodo, his first game at under9s footy plugger turned up encouraging him as he was 7 years old and kicked 7 goals in his first game , by the time he was 14 he could kick 50 mtrs drop punts and 55 mtrs torpedos other clubs he played against him the kids called him the freak as he cpuld kick 10 goals a game on his good games plugger was proud , so were we at how nice and attentive tony was to reach out and help him a great guy we love him and always supported tony good or bad hes just an amazing man
Thank goodness Tony Played AFL and didn't go and play Rugby League /Union- like all the other 'Big Units'. I read his Biography when he'd made the legendary stat... Well worth it.. I remember being in Primary School and My Mum and Auntie Greenie used to take me parking if we were in the area ... and park on the next nature-strip. or across the road!!?! Greenie was Savvy to where he lived.. and I bragged my little boasty self at show-and-tell the next week... every time...(might of fibbed and said he came and said G'day a few times.}... No wonder I had a crush! I wasn't allowed to play footy with the Dew kickers... just train... It's good that Women have a footy Career option these days... The Vig Man with the Magiv stats will alwats be 'The Man'. Look out ! if Boof heads headed your way!! Ah... AFL hey.!? Unique. Tuff Exciting.
