Hijraah needs homework just like any project a person does for worldly matters. Become financially independent, use the power of the currency and use it in your favor in the land of Hijraah you are focussing. In sha Allaah He Subhana wa tala will make it easy.
    Surah Nisa verse 100 says:
Whoever emigrates in the cause of Allah will find many safe havens and bountiful resources throughout the earth. Those who leave their homes and die while emigrating to Allah and His Messenger-their reward has already been secured with Allah. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Allah عز وجل connected Hijra to Jihad. Hijra isn’t meant to be easy Hijra it’s hard, it was hard back then and it still is.

Ibn Qudaamah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
With regard to Hijrah, people fall into three categories:
    1.
Those for whom Hijrah is obligatory: this applies to the one who is able to do it and is not able to practice his religion openly or establish the obligatory duties of his religion if he stays among the kuffaar. In this case, it is obligatory to migrate because Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, as for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves (as they stayed among the disbelievers even though emigration was obligatory for them), they (angels) say (to them): ‘In what (condition) were you?’ They reply: ‘We were weak and oppressed on the earth.’ They (angels) say: ‘Was not the earth of Allaah spacious enough for you to emigrate therein?’ Such men will find their abode in Hell - what an evil destination!”
    [al-Nisa’ 4:97].
This is a stern warning which indicates that it is obligatory. Establishing the obligatory duties of Islam is obligatory for the one who is able to do that, and Hijrah is necessary for fulfilment of that obligation; whatever is essential to fulfilment of an obligation is also obligatory.
    2.
Those for whom hijrah is not obligatory. This applies to the one who is not able to do it, either because of sickness, or because he is forced to stay, or because of weakness in the case of women, children and so on. In this case Hijrah is not obligatory, because Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Except the weak ones among men, women and children who cannot devise a plan, nor are they able to direct their way.
    99. These are they whom Allaah is likely to forgive them, and Allaah is Ever Oft-Pardoning, Oft-Forgiving”
    [al-Nisa’ 4:98-99].
And it is not mustahabb for them, because it is not possible for them.
    3.
Those for whom it is mustahabb but is not obligatory. This applies to the one who is able to do it, but he is able to practice his religion openly and establish it in the kaafir country. So it is mustahabb for him, so that he would be able to engage in jihad against them, increase the numbers of Muslims, and support them, and so that he can stop increasing the numbers of kuffaar, mixing with them and seeing evil among them. But it is not obligatory for him, because it is possible for him to establish the obligatory duties of his religion without migrating.
    End quote from al-Mughni, 9/236
Based on that, if you are able to practice your religion openly as you say, then Hijrah is not obligatory for you, but moving to one of the Muslim countries is better and more safe, so as to avoid increasing the numbers of kuffaar, mixing with them and witnessing their evils, and so as to move away from fitan (turmoils, temptations) and causes of deviation which are prevalent in those societies, as well as for the sake of the children who are born to the Muslims there, to save them from being lost and going astray in Western societies. This applies in general, but a person may be in a place in those countries where he lives among a Muslim majority and is able to play his role in da‘wah, teaching and explaining Islam to others, in which case it is better to him to stay and not migrate.
So you should weigh up the pros and cons, and give priority to preservation of religious commitment over other interests, for religious commitment is the capital of the individual which must not be squandered.
With regard to going back -- temporarily -- in order to obtain a better education, we hope that there is nothing wrong with you doing that, especially if it is an education that you need or there is some benefit to the Muslims in it, but you should keep trying to find an opportunity to settle permanently in a Muslim country.
We ask Allah to guide and help us and you.
    And Allah knows best.

“Obligation is to be considered in matters of Jihad according to the opinion of upright men of religion who have experience in what people of this world do, rather than those who mainly look at a matter from the viewpoint of religion. Do not adopt their opinion - not the opinion of men of religion who have no experience in the world."

Even if you say it's wajib, realistically speaking it's unrealistic until Muslim nations stop treating fellow Muslims from other lands as less than them,... I.e. immigration limitations, you can't enter without buying a visa, you can't stay more than 30 days on a visa, you can't work without buying a different kind of visa plus getting a company sponsorship, if you stay over the 30 day visa youre put in jail, deported then forbidden to return,...etc...etc
This is no government system in favor of Hijrah, Muslim unity,...etc
A single nation could literally become one of the most powerful nations over night by simply announcing and allowing Muslims from Darul kufar to make Hijrah to their nation, how many soldiers they will gain over night? Millions, how much material gains will they get over night $millions, educated men and women, doctors,....etc...etc they could become a power house and grow their economy massively just from a worldly perspective.
And other nations would quickly follow in their footsteps.
But untill then we're stuck in darulkufar

Italy controlled Libya and the other half of Somalia.
France controlled west Africa, Algeria, and Morocco.
      The Netherlands controlled Indonesia.

Akhi, you should refer to a scholar who has accurate knowledge of where you live because alot of times, there are fatwas from scholars that are inaccurate because they have a rather "shallow" understanding in that regard (with all due respect to Sheikh Assim Al Hakeem from Ask Zad and IslamQA). Sheikh Haitham Al-Haddad for example is of the same opinion as Sheikh Abu Taymiyyah with regards to Hijrah because of the implications it carries. By saying that it is obligatory, every one is then sinful if he doesn't and the Deen was made easy in general (of course there are hardships but in general its easy) and where there is extraordinary difficulty, things are made easy in Islam. The thing is, with some fatwas, scholars have a "shallow" or "theoretical" understanding of things, one of which is bitcoin for example and the fatwas given sound quite silly to someone who somewhat understands how bitcoin works. Sheikh Haitham Al-Haddad for example only gives fatwas for Muslims in the west when he speaks in english because we have abnormal situations as he says and a normal fatwa is not going to work.

So what? I know brothers who have lived in Egypt/Morroco etc for years with no issues, yes there are some who encountered issues but not everyone. And hijrah isn’t meant to be easy. Did the prophet want to leave his home in Makkah and go to Madinah? Was those that left everything behind overjoyed and found it easy? And yes I agree there are a lot of issues in our lands, but just saying it was down to ‘revolutions’ ya akhi be just. It was the west that destroyed most of our lands. The Sheikh you're talking about probably gave a fatwa according to the evidences and the situation at the time, and as you said Yemen was the best place etc. So you can't knock him for how things turned out. He didn't know what would happen in the future. Also, those that got sent back can't be sinful, because it was out of their control. So what's the issue Sheikh?

Sorry to say, Brother , first of all you are not qualified to give a fatawa. We know that.
People asking you about the Deen of Allah not how you feel, or about your experience. You made it unnecessary long.
Just say, if you are desperate then do hijrah and if you are not , stay here....no worries..I came from Madinah...i got knowledge.....Forgot about what classical Ulamah said about hijrah. We can interpret quran and hadith differently now.... like Yasir Qadi or Omer Sulyman etc...
Don't worry brother the world will be witness for you in the day of judgement InshaAllah. You made us wrong in front of others. Now, many will say, .....see you took too much burden.... You could easily stay here....
May Allah be enough for you and the people like you who give their opinion over Deen of Allah and make difficult other Muslims life by this type of talk.....

Our elders came here with nothing, we have more then them!!!!! Secondly you've gone against Qur'an and sunnah.... Thirdly most people love the kuffar, even if you have given the fatwa they wouldn't care, due to the love of the kuffar

No Fatwa needed. Use common sense. Land of fhe Kuffar in todays time is not better then Muslim land. The reality is Hijrah is hard who wants to come out of their comfort zone and self inflict hardship? It takes a strong minded soul who desires Allah more then themselves. Plenty of Muslim land to choose from. Go on Holiday first and then decide which land you want to make Hijrah too. Assalamualaykum
