The most interesting thing about the archtype for me is the fact that they recieved 3 waves of support in 3 different core sets almost if not actualy back to back. Its seems like konami wanted to make it definitly meta but underdelivered until they dropped the realy good support
It is a deck with several routes, even if you always end up with the boss monster on the field, it can make a field with negations and now with this new support it can be a deck with several interruptions. You can now go through a couple of handtraps and the recovery has improved, even Nibiru is not a problem and droll if they throw it at you after the twin dragon search is not a problem, its only problem is evenly and any card that removal magic and traps.
Pretty sure the achrtype needs you to send your own traps to the gy to set it back onto your field (with the field spell) and have the opponent attack into Combined Creation while also having 5 monster negates (You can banish those monsters with Twin Dragon). The other trap card decreaee monster attack so Combined Creation doesn't get destroyed. These 2 traps are only 1 of in decks and you can't brick with them if you have a 1 card combo.
Finally someone who does the combo right and go for the quick plays and not the traps as end board ! Memento was putting a decent board before but now its even crazier, while still playing 12-15 free spots. The deck is still a bit weak against handtrap, but you have the 3 horses, 3 bones party, 3 fusions and 1 one for one to play around a first interruption. 2 handtraps is when it start to become too hard for the deck. In a way the end board is a bit like the Snake Eyes one, you have interruptions on field, hand, S/T zone and even GY. And you can play easily around Nib by making an SP before summoning the main deck boss monster.
yep no real point for traps their kinda win moar and bricks 😅 deck could dafinitely use another extendar like u said. were still missing a level 6 ironically 👀
@@Squiddys yeah, all they need now is another body that can summon itself by controlling a Memento, and has an effect to access your engine in some way.
Bro you get the n64 sfx like no other, I feel like they are kind of try hard sometimes, but your attitude vibes with them VERY well. Keep leaning into it!!!
Very well done video Squiddy, especially the choice of music and SFX. Definently want to see more like this. Definently am planning to hunt out and get the rest of these cards before an Amazing Defenders situation happens and the cards skyrocket when people finally catch on. Do you have all the cards currently released in TCG?
thanks a lot i appriciate that!! well we have evfything except these two cards in the tcg will be relleased in july.. i think some of these mightve alrady gone up since last week after these supports got spoiled 😵 angwitch was 6-7$ now 30$ and bone party went from 3$ to 25$.. but they'l probably drop a bit once hype dies down
There is a better combo that end on 8 monster negates change of heart and the fusion to pop 3 as well as targeting protection All off of dark blade or angwitch
Btw your other video on memento, you added fusion off of fusion, when you can add the continuous trap instead and it is way more impactful than a2nd fusion
@@greasycheese8095 people get so focused on the 5 negates but they are contingent on the big guy being in the field and only negates on field. Meaning that you are still pretty vulnerable. And if they find a way to pop the trap you are a little screwed. And this format especially its terrible for that. BUT if you set stuff like bone party, and the fusion you can more easily react to interaction. Even slash is a bit better. But that being said its still OK, you'd just want to side them.
You can likely play through 2 hand traps but not end up on this board. The endboard shown is pretty resilient to evenly. You would probably sacrifice the field spell and board party

i hope we get moar even tho i hate waiting 😑
@@Squiddys Let there be a spell/ trap negate.
NGL, when they first announced it I thought they're going to release a support in each core set hence the name "Memento"....
I think the thing is that Konami is obsessed with call backs. This deck has potential for infinite support.
Memento by design is meant to be an advanced retrain Archetype.
My favorite endboard is nibiru token 😅
Just summon s:p before the 5th summon. There are lines for that.
You can even summon apollousa before summoning the combined creation now.....
@@truekingofallgeneraidersYes, but not fir the combo shown
This deck makes apo or SP to protect the boss now lol
actually since attic appeared you can avoid Nibiru with S:P

Can push through 3 handtraps but u have to know the lines. Can't wait for INFO and people will realize how good the deck is

woo hoo!
I want to see you play some games against the current meta decks on a platform like EDOpro. I think that will tell us a lot.

true but the traps are bricks 😅

This deck's combos are very complicated
You could techinally play shifter after shuffling ur graveyard
But it would be useless going 2nd . It would just hurt you at that point.
