Alright, this is highly requested. Though I don't know what story you guys expected for them to have but this is their story of the year ╮(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)╭
The backstory of their tension relationship, tada~

Here's some facts about the backstory ʘ‿ʘ
-Ethan was in a coma when he was young because of his poor health, that's why he was in the hospital. Ethan lives in his dream and did not know about his case because he was still young.
-Mitch was the one who teaches Ethan stuff whenever they are together in his dream. There is no way for Ethan to learn stuff otherwise.
-Ethan's dream was base of the fact that it was the last storybook his mother reads for him, it was about a prince and a princess living happily inside the castle.
-When Mitch was attacked by a nightmare demon, his brother was the one who fought back causing him with scars on his face.
-The reason why Mitch was indifferent towards Ethan was because he couldn't accept why Ethan forgot about him and unable to access his dream. He wasn't sure what happened at the hospital back then back he believes himself to think that Ethan got better that's why he was gone at the hospital.
There rest might get explained in the part two of the this video. Feel free to theorized why and how Ethan can't remember Mitch (・∀・)
Sorry for the mistakes in the video, I wasn't quite well in the mood to make video when making this but I still did so. My mood changes every hour idk why ┐(´ー｀)┌

Ethan died while in a coma and reincarnated as a fallen angel or something happened like that. Ethan can't remember Mitch because he's from his previous life, but that's why mitch looks familiar to him.

That was so sad.. this is just my theory but Ethan was in coma so that means his only ever companion for the whole six years he stayed asleep was when Mitch visited him. The only friend (& prob more) he had before he died and became an angel, just for it to turn out that he forget it all after death 😭 not his fault tho, I mean, he died. But the fact Mitch doesn’t even get to know it and still wait and try to find him for year just to be hit with the reality that Ethan doesn’t remember is just 🥲 I hope Ethan can remember soon, like come on he literally made up a whole palace just for Mitch 🥺

Truly, I'm enjoying these movies much more than I thought I will.
Simple reason by because of how thought through it is. Questions are answered and there's no a detail without meaning like I thought the talismans were, yet suspected them for some reason that I've been trying to come up with excuses that it's not that deep. But it is. Like the demon being mentioned few times even before appearing.
All in all these stories were not impressive by something that does not matter
