David's performance is brilliant!! He's perfectly capable of singing "the big note" :) live, as irrefutably demonstrated by his devastating performance of "Life on Mars" as Fashion Rocks. As if that weren't enough, his commanding performance of Arcade Fire's "Wake Up" should have been enough to make Arcade Fire give up!
u're right though; he had macis microphones on reality tour. they could do everything! i was well impressed lol They did work off his live vocal though, just like the studio effect worked off his performance, so i thought that was cool :)
He's been pretty disillusioned of late. He made a statement on his website many months ago as an aside saying "today I will write a song as well"; We can expect a new album, just no idea when. It's been a long time!
Life experience I'd assume. I've been tryng to write a novel, and I 've concluded it's not gonna happen till I have a more colourful life and education / expertise of certain things :P
