- A video describing how forest carbon is commonly measured during operational inventories. Whether inventories are exclusively conducted using "on-the-ground" measurements, or these measurements are "paired" with remotely sensed data, tree carbon estimates will ultimately be based on volume/dry-weight estimates predicted using height-diameter-form measurements and equations will be used to predict carbon sequestered/stored/removed in other carbon pools such as understory vegetation, litter, harvested wood products.
