12 mm diameter idler tire will not fit there due to bracket's brass bushing close location. The maximum wheel diameter (with tire installed) will fit there is 11.4 mm. I do not know how you made this mechanism working.
Hi-You did a really great job on that roller shift! I had a replacement small roller for my TC-580 from Sony that installed 5 days ago, but even that is not working well after a week. Did you use 2 - 12mm outer x8mm inner rubber washers and file them down to fit? Also your springs look different than my springs. Did you replace the springs too?
I used rubber packing of water supply which was 12mm dia. So I shaved it until 11.5mm dia. Spring was original one. No change any. Did you adjust left and right metal parts position which are like claws ? You can see detail at following URL. yahoo.jp/box/xZC5JK

...на моём; 1. пружины слабые, оставил старые, 2. заменил резину ролика, состоит из 2 идлеров. Подогнал. По вашей технологии : )

Is the faucet gasket SANEI PP40-12x8 oil-resistant? Can it deteriorate after contacting lube oil by accident?
