This game reminds me of something Strange that's been going on. I was on a trip with my two friends Max and Tommy in the wilderness last month, it was going great. Tommy was talking about developing a game on his new computer after his graduation and all of a sudden, some weird creature was approaching he grabbed tommy first. Poor, poor tommy, he didn't even get a chance to run. The Police found him a few days later curled up in a corner near our campsite. And when we saw Tommy......he wasn't the same guy from before the incident, he was acting weird, so weird, when we asked him what happened to him, he just replied "I grew up". I don't know what to do, Max he hasn't called in a week and Tommy started behaving in a Stricter manner and now exclusively wears a Red T-shirt and Light Green Pants. Odd fashion choice but whatever right? but most bizarre of all, his face is Slightly Yellowish and his smile... it seems to widen, showing more teeth than it should like some kind of grinch. I just need to get him some professional help and everything'll be ok. Yeah, that's it, I'll call Tommy's Folks and try to contact Max beforehand just to help out. Tommy'll be fine, he's just going through some things, everything will be ok.

To be honest, CHAIN feels like a breathe of fresh air, after weird strict dad just released more content, because it's addicting. Chain however (old version) was made in 2019 only by 2 people slowly learning to make games, now, it has good graphics, smooth animations, a lot of work is put into it, and chapter 2 looks like it's cooking. It's not out, but seems like a hope for roblox horror.

Y'know, in retrospective Weird Strict Dad is just another example of Roblox devs trend-riding and copying others. I mean, everytime some game reaches some amount of popularity there's instantly a ton of rip-offs and just inspired projects. And, ironically enough, the "trend starter" game most likely is a clone of an outside of Roblox game. Examples: Piggy - a clone of Granny. Residence massacre - a FNaF-like that's imitating retro-Roblox because Jim's computer did it (don't think I've seen anything it could be based of off). Pretty much every anime fighting/rpg game - an older version of it on Roblox. Every. Single. Damn. "Transfurmation". Game. - that one time a guy saw "every gameover in Changed" video and decided to make some buck of off kids wanting to beat furries in Roblox. Various Lethal Company knock-offs - Lethal Company (kinda ironic considering Zeekers started out as a Roblox game dev) Why couldn't Roblox devs get inspired by more underground or mature (as in violent, since it's more acceptable) like: every game by Archeximus on Roblox; surrealist games like Psychopomp or Cruelty squad (Comment section tip: mentioning Roblox game "Weird Strict Dad" increases odds of being hearted in this comment section. Real life tip: going to bed on time can help increase your overall being and decrease odds of your Divine Link being severed); Darkwood; MyHouse.wad .
It's because these people are not competent or creative enough to be a game developer. They just want money. Game development is an art that takes a lot of skill and innovation, these people don't have that. They only see the reward, and try to replicate games they've seen get a big one.

To be honest, CHAIN feels like a breathe of fresh air, after weird strict dad just released more content, because it's addicting. Chain however (old version) was made in 2019 only by 2 people slowly learning to make games, now, it has good graphics, smooth animations, a lot of work is put into it, and chapter 2 looks like it's cooking. It's not out, but seems like a hope for roblox horror.

Y'know, in retrospective Weird Strict Dad is just another example of Roblox devs trend-riding and copying others. I mean, everytime some game reaches some amount of popularity there's instantly a ton of rip-offs and just inspired projects. And, ironically enough, the "trend starter" game most likely is a clone of an outside of Roblox game.
Examples:
Piggy - a clone of Granny.
Residence massacre - a FNaF-like that's imitating retro-Roblox because Jim's computer did it (don't think I've seen anything it could be based of off).
Pretty much every anime fighting/rpg game - an older version of it on Roblox.
Every. Single. Damn. "Transfurmation". Game. - that one time a guy saw "every gameover in Changed" video and decided to make some buck of off kids wanting to beat furries in Roblox.
Various Lethal Company knock-offs - Lethal Company (kinda ironic considering Zeekers started out as a Roblox game dev)
Why couldn't Roblox devs get inspired by more underground or mature (as in violent, since it's more acceptable) like: every game by Archeximus on Roblox; surrealist games like Psychopomp or Cruelty squad (Comment section tip: mentioning Roblox game "Weird Strict Dad" increases odds of being hearted in this comment section. Real life tip: going to bed on time can help increase your overall being and decrease odds of your Divine Link being severed); Darkwood; MyHouse.wad .

It's because these people are not competent or creative enough to be a game developer. They just want money.
Game development is an art that takes a lot of skill and innovation, these people don't have that. They only see the reward, and try to replicate games they've seen get a big one.
