Those hikes are keeping you in good shape. After being at 10,000' elevation all summer, when I come to the Arizona desert I feel like a kid again. Really enjoy walking at that low elevation with all that good air!
Thanks for posting these, most of what I see out here in AZ is is spot and stalk. I live near very similar landscapes with OTC for Dec and Jan. Will try this strategy this season!

just the opposite for me, live low elevation and need to acclimate for 2-3 days when I go up high country. Even Lake Panguitch!
We keep oxygen at the cabin for all the flatlanders🤣

indeed, plan is always to intercept or ambush them by positioning ahead of where deer are going. Hard to do...a guessing game.
