Actually you're wrong Beyonce mother is Louisiana French Creole not Haitian, I would know my mother is Creole also. Haitian, Trinidadian, Jamaican are all nationalities, not a race. I'm American because I was born here which makes it my nationality. Mya have already said her mother and father are both American and she has no Caribbean background. Nicki is Trini I'll give you that, but her music is 100% American based. As for the rest you're American once you're born and raised here, PERIOD.
