Really enjoying these videos. Kind of surprised you are using hobby paints. I find for large items like this art acrylics or craft acrylics are best. Though I do like it when you break out the rustoleums and the Krylon spray paints!

I've used the spray texture paint for roads before but never thought to use it to give a concrete/stucko illusion on terrain! Great idea!
I use spray texture paint for my Star Wars legion 3d printed terrain
