I think Dagas' blade quest was one of the most interesting. I'd personally like to think that with his signature ability being Kaiser Zone, that he is referencing the Kaiser of Kislev from Xenogears with how his whole sidequest goes.
I got an unbelievable sense of dread after I completed Dagas’s. I had fully completed his affinity chart and when I found out I had to do it AGAIN I just kinda stopped using him because I didn’t want to fill a full chart again.
Oh wow. I started playing as well, and am currently in chapter 5, and got Dagas on chapter 3. I had no idea he has a second chart, but I still seldom use my rare blades anyway, since I have them constantly doing merc missions, and I can just keep Dagas doing those until he is ready.
He's an interesting one, but man, having to max his affinity chart just to get to his "real" chart is a drag needing more trust than any other blade when accounting for both charts since it resets after awakening. Still better than ursula though, in maxing the chart and battle usefulness.

So as I see it, he's more useful than he looks in fights against one or two enemies, but his real power shines against multiple enemies. Others could do the same or better against just one enemy, like the Relentless Arduran, but not against hordes like challenge mode tends to give

You have to player control tora to setup the combo and dot as fast as I did. Even with transmigration akhos doesn’t have high enough damage to make up for the tora control dot even if you try to setup with someone else. I tried something similar with kosmos and telos who null defense.
@@EnelXC Sorry for the confusion, I meant that does Zenobia's "Greatest Warrior" skill stack with the damage increase Dagas gives. I'm kind of uncertain how the damage stacking works in this game
