Dave, I have had this a dozen times, never been that crispy........that was custom made. I am in Phx 45 years and rooting for Phx pizza, but no way this is your pizza, and, with all due respect to CB, huge respect btw, this was a fair score. ...btw did I say that was the loudest crisp I have heard in a dozen trips there?
It's not his style but I think 7.3 is a bit too low, it does look very very good. This is no less than a 8.
if the 2nd and 3rd slices were like the first slice and didn't have the typical neapolitan flop he definitely would have scored it higher.
There's the taste element that we can see on UA-cam, that's where he comes in.
Man every time i watch these i get hungrrrryyy!
Ive eaten at Pizzeria Bianco dozens of times. Its by far one of the best pizzas Ive ever had. There is a place in San Antonio (something like Doughs) the head chef trained under Bianco. His pizza is insanely good also.
However as stated this is a style of pizza so preferences matter. I have been to New Haven and tried Frank Pepe's and couldn't get one from Sally's in time. The look of Sally's is what I wanted but Frank's was outstanding and, in my opinion, outclasses a Neapolitan pizza 10 out of 10 times. That's my opinion and preference.
@@rg20322 If you are doing pizza reviews of every kind of pizza, then you need to be objective and not just rate every pizza according to your own "preference." As an example, you would give good ratings to the best examples of every type of pizza, not just to ones you like the best.
@@mikeymutual5489 relax guy. It's a subjective show. Of course it's opinion based.
@@CilantroJones Yes, it's opinion-based. But if Dave is going to be basing his ratings on his personal biases, then the review ratings will be irrelevant and everyone watching will be wasting their time.
Why put full size Basil leafs ? I don’t understand. Does anyone get it ?
You can tell by how he ate the first slice, he loved it
Totally! He gave it a low score just to prove someone (who knows who) that pissed him off or bullied him in grade school....Then he proceeds to eat half the pie in about 2 minutes. Haha! What a doucher!
@@phillipdoran7323 Nonsense. That second slice was floppier than a limp noodle.
Dave should try Hot Daisy’s on Roosevelt, Forno301 on McDowell and Central, and Ziggys!
I go to Forno often, and I enjoy it, but it would definitely not be Dave's style. It's close to neapolitan.
Wow! In guessed it would have been an 8.2... Dave did give it a great score but I thought low 8s for sure.
I love that score. Hahaha. Awesome
