Oh how I wish we had amazing bands like this playing on our streets in Australia. You guys are definitely on my list of great things to see and do in Spain when I eventually get there. Joan is an amazing influence on these young musicians, they are so fortunate to have his encouragement and guidance.

I grew up playing in the big band area. Needless to say that I love this music. Joan has done a great job of putting together an outstanding group of young musicians. Jesse does a good trumpet solo. The trombone is great.

Esta además tiene la curiosidad de que fue una especie de ensayo para el ya icónico concierto que dieron meses después, el 30/11/2011, en el Palau de la Música, con Jesse Davis y Wycliffe Gordon de estrellas invitadas. El caso de este tema concreto "Easy Money" es muy significativo, porque los solos de la peque Alba a la trompeta, de Dani al trombón y de Jan al piano son idénticos a los concierto del Palau, no cambiaron ni una nota, me parece. Fabulous and talented kids !!! One major detail is badly missing though. Not one kid shows the slightest enjoyment or pleasure... Not a smile is to be seen on their face !!! The only one who shows jumping enthusiasm and seems to have the greatest of all times is Joan Chamorro, their conducting coach !!! It's a shame !

This was a memorized solo--nothing wrong with this, especially if you are 9 years old.
