aint it only these new immature countries that previous was under siege, that still use that dated standard?
Yes, acording to Google.. only 3 countries use imperial all new nations.
* Liberia in Africa (most known from some of the worst etn. horrors)
* Military dictatorship in Myanmar (previously called Burma)
* USA
Everybody else on the globe use the main standards metric.
and all imperiel units are now definded and based in metric, just with an added conversion factor on top.
USA also hurried to sign the metric aggrement and would outphase imperial asap, now that it doesnt exist and founded & based in metric, as it makes no sense to take metric units and then put a conversion factor on top and call it imperial, just to feel special - but with these new nations that are quite idiology driven.. things take time..

How do you determine the the drill size in my drill bit set the bit is either too small or too large

There is a chart that says what size drill bit (in mm) 1/4 : 9mm 5/16 : 10.9mm 3/8 : 12.9mm 1/2 : 17.3mm
