However after several can crafting enthusiasts asked us for a tutorial video, we fulfilled that request by making this first video. We followed it up with an updated one earlier this year to aid can crafting enthusiasts looking for an easy DIY solution for their own projects.
@@sodacanmodels I found the other video you're referring to: where you simply cut the sheets out of the can. I used this method myself years ago when I made pop-pop boats with my kids (we'd just watched the movie "Ponyo"). In fact, I'll turn this reference into a suggestion: Even though most of your content emphasizes form over function, an instructional video on making a working pop-pop boat would nice to see, especially if it's an elegant-looking design rather than one that is merely "adequate".
