I remember when the first Trolls movie came out and i listened to this song nonstop everyday because it helped to remind me that being yourself can be hard, but being yourself is better than being like everyone else. Justin Timberlake’s vocal range is incredible! He’s able to sound perky and energetic when singing Can’t Stop the Feeling, but is able to sound calm and gentle when singing True Colors to the point where I can barely recognise his voice! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
As for Anna Kendrick, I have to admit that she’s much better in this soundtrack version than in the film version. In the film, it sounded like she was phoning it in, but she sounds much more relaxed and soothing here. Even I can’t deny how beautiful her voice is! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

I have an autistic son... he feels sooo defeated by all the bullying. Doesn't have many friends going into high school. Everyone lookes at him differently but he is loved!!!! Has such an amazing personality!!!! More ppl should be like him!! He sees the good in people and just wants everyone to be happy!!! And feel loved!!
He will find people that like him the way he is. I had this proces too i found friends who liked me as the person that i am. Your son will too. Just don't change. If you change to get friends they will not see the true beauty that lies right in front of them.

I just realized how this film is about depression. Branch is dark because he's depressed his grandma died and all the color/happiness drained out of him. Their "True Colors" are actually their true personalities.
