It really is a MMORPG from 2012. MMORPGs' back then often have this primitive combat system where all attacks connect so long as your target is in range. The only way to dodge is to increase the stat that can help proc 'misses' (excluding the AoEs). To compare, action RPGs today have this combat system similar to souls, genshin, or warframe, where you, the projectile, and/or the enemy have relatively sophisticated hitbox that need to collide or overlap so that the attack connects, and only then damage calculation begins. Nevertheless, it looks good for its release date.
theres nothing "primitive" about it lol it's called tab target and is not better or worse than action combat, some of the biggest current mmos like ffxiv or wow are tab target.
The combat in BnS is soo damn satisying. I really hope they just restart but keep the same general feeling that the game has to offer. I would prefer this over black desert but BnS seriously needs to start fresh.
i hope restart without the p2w garbage Treasure trove is most greedy thing they added because they made sure the game was unfun for the f2p people with nerfing gold and loot drop.

Amazing video, this is what new players exactly needs to watch before making any decision, hands clap, clean and well made it. I was thinking to start new mmorpg, Blade and Soul was in my mind for a long time after I watch your video I decided what class I'm gonna play.. its going to be Dual Blade as main and Blade Master & Warden as alt. can you change classes on 1 character in this game or u need to make alts? im thinking of giving it a try but all classes looks cool and dont want to be locked in 1 class :D

I remember liking the combat system of BnS, but looking at now it look archaic and static. Try lost ark if you got aptitute with ARPG, really fun combat (thou there is level of gatekeeping and gameplay time invest issue).

Interesting that Soulfighter and Astromancer class looks sweet.. I hear about Neo classic servers are they up yet and better to play than normal game?
