Zephyr's Momentum move is powerful...you can put her in cover, jump out and punch somebody in the carotid, then skitter back behind a filing cabinet.

You heal all damage after the engagement and if one of your characters is downed, they get wounds that affect their performance in later missions. You can put them in training to get rid of the wound but it takes a couple days.

I selected Half-Heal at game setup because that seemed to be the default option.

depends on difficulty, hard I recall only halfheal and one setting disable heal entirely which makes you depend on shields and heal effects on agents. You might be able to limit healing on normal mode too...there is a toggle

@@Solus749 I selected Expert difficulty. Full Heal, Half Heal, and No Heal were all available options, but Half Heal was selected by default so I went with that figuring that was the developer's intent for that particular difficulty setting.

I hardly ever used Subdue unless there was a specific mission objective to capture instead of kill.

@@JeffGarvin Oh wow. 100% chance to hit, but for low damage. If a target has low HP, I prefer to Subdue rather than risk the chance of a shot missing. Plus, each subdued enemy grants you a +20% chance to earn a special 20 Intel reward upon mission completion. Subdue 5 enemy units during the mission and you guarantee that 20 Intel bonus.

Access to elerium would enable them to refine an explosive powerful enough to take out the mayor?!
Did the mayor have particularly thick skin? Was she impervious to dynamite? What's going on there?

Maybe they were making a statement by using a plasma bomb instead of conventional explosives.

each time you recruit you choose between 3...there are 12 or so in total ( with starting 4 counted ) so you never get a full squad. However you do reqruit them at intervals so 1-2 per investigation if I recall correctly.....basicly you start short staffed but you get enough people to get your base running.
