Judith this is incredible! I would love to see a little bit more about the design and get cracking on one myself.

It's lovely✨♥️. Some day I may get a sewing machine. There's so many wonderful and beautiful things to be made. And since I love boxes and bags, it may be well worth investing in one soon. Other priorities keep jumping in front of the line.

Thank you! Yes I know what you mean. My list of things to fold is longer than I can ever do.

I’ve been looking for a pattern for these for ages!! I want to make one, and then attempt to supersize it into an ottoman!

Great idea! I thought of something similar - like storage pillows for children.

This looks fantastic! Is it just the tension in the fabric or is it wired inside to create the springyness? I'd love to see how you made them!

Hi Edward, no the springiness comes from the fact that it is based on an origami model. The fabric was not starched or stiffened in any way. I wrote a guide and published the pattern yesterday in my original article on my website, if you are still intrigued by it. Thanks for a thoughtful comment!

I have been searching everywhere for a bouldering chalk bag that can do this!! Could you please show us a tutorial on this with the option of a handle to carry it around? Thank you so much!

I am sorry, but you will need to figure that out on your own. I am primarily into origami - and this model crossed with fabric, but I am no expert in sewing.
