I've had the opportunity of inspecting a couple of Flux as Xion which stop working and found same failure mode: the front bearing of the motor damaged so I did some calculations resulting the cam not only is not dynamically balanced but the average torque needed to move the needle exceeds the nominal torque of the motor, simple put the motors work overloaded plus the excessive vibration caused by the unbalanced cams resulting in premature and permanent motor damage. In addition I know people in the factory down in Miami who disclosed some machines which won't pass final inspection due to excessive vibration are shipped anyway.

You guys should re design the ratchet disks and xion give knobs to not wear out as fast with a stronger plastic material , increase the height of each ridge on the ratchet disk for a stronger click that wears down less quickly , also the plastic drive pin in the flux that the cam sits into should be shortened 1mm and you wouldn't have had to add extra threading to the flux max and solved the needle hang issue on the original flux a long time ago , no reason this small plastic slider piece couldn't have been slightly shorter a simple fix easier than re designing the motor body and the updated parts should be on sale on the site along with replacement xion stay up springs (prone to breaking) instead of having to send in the machine for service also offer the tool used to open the flux that unscrews it from the USA engraving in the cartidge hole a small plastic screw driver that fits into the engrvaing we pay alot for your products this should be standard and will increase the popularity of your brand by showing artists you really care about the little details. The cams on the flux could be swapped but instead we are forced to buy whole new motor bodies it shows that it's not as much for the artists and more for the profit. If you guys make some small changes like this you can crush cheyenne and other brands go back to your roots look what acus m1 is doing.

@@SaS-wn3dm I do not own one yet only the original flux its nice but I am still more comfortable using my xion it is my favorite machine of all time even though some parts are prone to wearing out quick I like having mechanical give , e give is not as good for me. I feel like I can work faster and easier with my xion almost every time I use it its just my comfort zone I'm having a hard time loving any of the zero give machines I own the unlimited 4.0 the wand packer and the flux and I still think the xion with a cord is king

Damn u guys are loosing the for tattooers by tattooers...the technology is great but sometimes a machine can be over engineered look it what all pens are doing now direct drives u can try to dress it up with e give wireless battery brushless motor but in the end it's a direct drive
