The is the difference between Kevin Cruz content and other UA-camrs he’s doing a deep dive on household names, moves, signature moves… none of that “Demi god build, who is a demon on the floor”… thank you for continued fresh content that gets me excited to play 2k25
I wonder why 2k doesn’t put idle overhand animations when in the triple threat position. When you watch a real game plenty of times players will keep the ball above their head looking for a pass.
Be thinking the same thing but it’s prolly cause the left stick is used to move right stick is used to dribble/shoot so there’d be no way to ensure you keep the ball up using any input unless you already picked up your dribble
Really wished that they should've just added the postgame pro plays on this game, but I guess they are getting that ready as an NBA 2K26 feature instead, lmao.
It's so nice to see that once a shot goes in, you don't see 3 players of the opposing team start the same animation. There's still a slight pause once the ball goes in, but overall looks more smoother
There's something that 2k will never fix, look at 1:15, Lebron will dribble one more time, but when u give him the command to finish, the ball magically come's back to his hand and he does 4 or 5 steps to finish the play, damn!
I agree this happened to me quite a bit, because of how animations can be interrupted. Hopefully something that's addressed in future versions. But, I'll admit this is a tough one because having to work around this would mean making the game more restrictive and less responsive. They probably know it, but they're happy to look the other direction to make sure the game plays smooth.
Kevin i swear ur the best UA-camr on here and that's why I rock wit u. Everyone else is just thinking about speed boosting and complaining. Im so glad over there at 2k they recognize ur work, and u should never get no dislikes on ur videos. Thx brother
I'm ngl NBA 2K25 is looking pretty good to me, I thought NBA 2K24 was a pretty good 2K overall. Looks likes they've made lots of good improvements from 2K24

@@VI_Yai_iVI couldn’t give you a good one cause before I played 2k24 it was 2k22 and I took a long break from 2k. I’d have to take a trip down memory on what the 2k’s in the 2010’s were like. This plus mini marksman is going to be really interesting to see how it plays out.. if it’s too good you can see a nerf incoming but maybe good defenders online will have these sig shots boxed. Will be fun to see

Not going to lie. You can have a Tyceno type year if you are consistent this year. You’re going to need to invest in an editor to help push out content from rec, park and play online.
@kevincruz016 way to call them out on the austin reaves lackluster go to shot lol. Surprised they haven’t updated kyrie and dame lillard too much of all players. He doesn’t even do some of the signature dribbles they gave kyrie like the left to right stick cross in his sig animations
I think it's a massive improvement over 24. But I'm not sure how good of a game it is yet. But as far as first impressions, this makes a really strong one

What was your experience with contact dunks? Did they seem consistent enough to make a build that depends solely on contacts to finish or is layup seem like a necessity?
@@power_ug idk did we? It ain’t about his overall. His whole game style ain’t the same no more, not dunking over dudes like he used to no more, but he’s still as effective in other ways
@@MaxaMillion4118 what are you talking about lmao, he was dunking on hella people still. His game is still the same, he just can’t sustain it for long periods of time anymore so he plays a lot more off ball now to conserve energy.

So for your go-to shots and stepback jumpers just quickly let go of the RS at any point. It's way more responsive this year compared to last! And can quickly combo into it!
Man, I’m not impressed with Lebron’s animation at all. He don’t got the most beautiful game irl but this is just some ugly ass animation. At least irl his layups and his fade from the middy can be beautiful. 2k just think Lebron a dunker
LeBron lacks quickness in dribbling, but makes up for it in strength, speed, and length, so I would like to see length being used to push the ball more outward to use an angle to get by smaller / slower defenders, as LeBron is not doing crazy combos in dribbling, he's usually efficient in using a quick move and either pulling up, or driving. Even Kyrie won't be out there dribbling too much as he attempts to use his handles in set situations and based upon the defender and pressure he's under.
@@abroslife im not even talking about dribbling, his dribbling isn’t as important in 2k. He doesn’t really dribble much irl anyways. Only a couple between and some hesitation irl then he blows by his defender. I’m talking about his pull up jumper animation, hell even his standing animation isn’t as realistic as the new KD jumpshot animation. His pull up isn’t realistic at all. The worst of all though, is his layup package. How come the most dominant driver of all time don’t got a pro play lay up animation is very crazy. His 2k layup animation been wack forever
