Y'all - I got a testimony concerning this!! I heard Dr. Kevin talk about this in one of his meetings and I decided to pray for longer in tongues while I was working. At least an hour a day, and one day 5-6 hours. 2 weeks later I received deliverance in a heavenly appointment - Jesus set me free and I feel so much lighter. It was out of the blue and unexpected, absolutely wild!! I started to hear and feel the Holy Spirit's voice more clearly, have visions, dreams, and see signs all around me. The difference is tangible and it has really surprised me what surrendering and praying in the Holy Spirit has done in so little time. Praise God!! I'm so grateful I took on the challenge and pushed for 5 hours. Hallelujah for His victory!!

I got saved. Was water baptized and didn't speak in tongues until a couple of years later in a season of spiritual warfare, that's when I got baptism of the Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.
Kevin I wanted to share last week my 9 YO started Singing in tongues, in creative dance he was given utterance and then words started coming out of his mouth, one which I needed in the moment, and it was the most beautiful thing I think I've ever heard. He's a little seer prophet, born of a miracle. Now he has been baptized by the holy Spirit and he has blossomed as a child! Just wanted to share because we're a 3rd grade student!! A healing angel touched my friend Leonard after I asked the Holy Spirit to have the angel to touch him on the right shoulder, not knowing that he needed healing in that shoulder! We don't go to church for something. We go to give. I have had an aversion to going to church for many years (my whole life (75 so far)) and I realized I was going to see what I could "get" out of the experience. Yes, my mindset needs help as well! I ask to experience praying in the Spirit, I believe, please help me. I know I am filled with the Spirit but something is off. So much has changed in my life. I long to excellerate to fully walk in the light of our Lord.
Spend time in the secret place. Hum a worship song. For me it took a few days of this. Was like starting a weed eater. Pull the cord and a few words would come at a time. Then I learned how to pray a full sentence out. Now I can go as long as I want. Learning to go longer and more often. You will develop and mature in this. Kevin has helped me a lot to mature in this and many things. Trust God and ask Him to help you.
