I agree with you lads it’s great that the kids are there. I was there with my lad, and the sad truth is that it’s the only chance we get to go to Anfield really.

Great show lads and lasses, really interesting. They always are of course but in the abscence of a mens football match to analyse it was good to hear the topics discussed. Going forward would be lovely to get regular comment on the Womens team, maybe even a dedicated Womens show? Love the Wrap, cant always afford a sub but i never miss the free shows. Beth is absolutely right. We are one club and support men, women and all our academy teams, the club needs to show that by actually promoting the women’s team like every other big club in the world do. I mean there was nothing on Kerry Davies winning an award or our women’s under 21’s getting to a cup final. Was really annoyed at both clubs for not doing hardly anything for the derby especially when The Manchester Derby, El Classico and The NLD had over 140k fans and huge promotion behind it especially given the history with Dick, Kerr Ladies. Everton not sorting out their pitch was also a massive p take as well, so many injuries. A draw was fine, with Arsenal’s win our season is pretty much over. Enderby is one hell of a signing by Matt Beard, what a player she is. Man City tomorrow, hope a big win.
When Real Madrid make a move it usually changes everything Trent has won everything at Liverpool to be added into that squad with Mbappe and live in that City will be difficult to refuse.

The idea we should throw anything Trent wants at him should be moot. Trents negotiations should involve him on both sides of the table. I wouldn't want a Trent that doesn't have the club's best interests in mind alongside his own. Seems just anxious to want to just get it done and to think that the club and he haven't already agreed to deal with this once the hierarchy is settled, not to then review prospects but just as a matter of procedure
No hate for Torres but no love either. It wasn't just him wanting to leave because the club was a mess but he stopped playing, he stopped trying and some of his performances were appaling. Like I said I've no hate for him at all but he's no comeback kid for me.

I'm a huge Trent fan but calling the 'trent can't defend ' comments a lazy narrative is bs, he does struggle in that area of his game, anyone can see this....
Regarding his contract, I do think he'll sign but you can't overlook he'd be asking for Salah type of wages and the truth is he's a RB and while his numbers are good they not on salah's level, are fsg really gonna make a RB the highest payed player at the club?
Another thing overlooked is the amount of games he's missed through injury this season which can't be ignored because for a 25 yr old he's played a LOT of football, is this season a one off or a sign of things to come in regards to his fitness.

Like Beth, very supportive of girls and women playing sport (Tennis, Hockey, cycling etc), but its painful watching WSL games esp knowing some of them are earning 150k. Games in the park are often more compelling. The level will increase as the current tide is very low, in a few years it should be good, but I wouldn't pay to watch ANY ladies football at present.

Isn’t that some of the key ingredients of a midfielder? Any other team puts him in midfield, at city he’s in midfield, when we’re we’re shite last year Trent inverting dragged us from 12th to 5th.

Unpopular opinion but... Liverpool can afford to lose Trent.
He has wonderful vision, one of the best right foots in the game. But take those attributes away and what are you left with?
An athlete of modest capabilities, a player not defensively minded enough to be RB, lacking the aggression and sharpness of mind to be an outright CM.
His stock will never be higher than it is now. So, if 90m+ comes in for him, take it and reinvest.
When is the media gonna understand ,There is no major Audience for women’s football infact it’s a drain on the men’s football and to hear one Of these guys apologise for having no understanding of the women’s game says it all
