Pretty cool that Peyz got to beat Faker's record for quickest to 1000 kills AGAINST FAKER.
Though it probably does deserve mentioning that the metagame Peyz got to start his career in is a bit more bloody than the meta Faker did, there are simply more kills per game.
But nonetheless, this feels like a noteworthy benchmark in Peyz's career
Imagine picking two liandry champs vs tanks and building zero magic pen items, especially while ahead. No excuse could have melted their front line all midgame
Imagine in 2024 you still thinking of mages building magic pen against tank. There is a reason why every team now picks 2-3 adc because mages are USELESS against tanks whatever you build because magic res items are so cheap and AP items stats are pathetic. Liandry is the only best option now and their job late game is survive, AoE zoning and protect the adc at all cost. It's Oner and Faker being caught that costs them the game not the items.

@@drow488 Just picking it and try if it's easy as you said. 2 adcs + 2 Liandry are enough to deal with tank IF AND ONLY WHEN the adcs can be alive. 3 magic pen items do not provide any HP at all and they are EXPENSIVE AS FCK so Lillia and Mordekaiser have to put a lot of resources for it while easily be one-shot in this adc heavy meta. GenG has Nidalee and Senna with massive heal is more dangerous than just the tank. That's why every AP jungle now just build Liandry + a proper item + Zhonya because it's their job to survive, provide cc and protect the adc, not TRY IN VAIN to kill the tanks. If the adc is dead before the combat which leads enemy tank to survive, that's the adc fault. T1 played well with their items until Faker got caught 2 times in a row, then it's sunddenly Oner fault to not build magic pen?
