The best way too describe Diggs, he's not a shut down corner. He's a playmaker. If we can draft a shut down corner to go on the other side of Diggs, that's a scary combo. Throw at the shutdown guy or take the 50/50 gamble throwing at Diggs

He’s the definition of risk vs reward, he has an aggressive play style that gets him burnt but the next play he’ll run the route FOR you and take it away. I think that fine line is where he’ll improve year to year and nobody knows what he’ll actually be in 2-3 years time. All this overrated talk from people not realizing he just completed year 2 with 11 picks, I think that’s a good Sophomore showing regardless of what people think.

He's a 2nd round pick, 2nd year player. He's not expected to lock the top receiver down yet but still managed 11 interceptions. He's definitely exceeding expectations.

He's not going to be shut down but he's a good playmaker. Dallas knows they need to put a shutdown guy next to him in order for him to maximize his potential. He's a second year player with 11 picks sure he let up the most yards but why does that matter now? no one cared when Xavien Howard let up 800 yards last year with those pics. AJ Terrel literally let up 800 yards last year also nobody talked about that. But now that a player is doing good he's criticized because he has a star on the side of his helmet.

There’s different types of DBs and Diggs is that Ballhawk/Playmaker type and once we get a lockdown corner to work on the other side of Diggs and have them both teach each other and feed off each other then Dallas’ secondary should be very very good!! But also people don’t watch the games and only see what the very unreliable source “PFF” puts instead of seeing that all those “yards” Diggs gave up was him letting off so the safety could pick it up, the safety had better angles and they got burnt, if Diggs got burnt then he wouldn’t just slow down right away he’d keep running to catch up but he didn’t do that and nobody payed attention to that especially Cowboys Haters😤 I hope Diggs can perform with his INTs this year like he did last year and I hope he improves on his coverage as well so he could be that double threat type of player or else Dallas fans will never hear the end of it! And I think people should listen to what Jalen Ramsey said about Diggs and people comparing them both, he said that Diggs is great and he’s gonna be something special but people need to stop comparing them because they have 2 different types of playing styles so what they’re comparing is something that’s not even the same👀

@@falcon1824 looking at just his stats doesn’t paint the full picture. The cowboys defense predicates on bend don’t break and creating turnovers. That’s exactly what diggs does, the cowboys this season were actually more of a defense then offense team. Sure the statistics will show Dallas offense scored alot and put up a lot of yards, but that was mostly due to them blowing out bad teams. In games where they needed to score, their offense couldn’t execute and relied on their defense to bail them out.

How many Touchdowns did he give up? That’s what counts at the end of the day. He’s not a shutdown corner. He’s a ball hawk corner which means he gambles a lot and therefore take risk that he shouldn’t sometimes. Not all great corners are true shutdowns. Prime Time, Revis and Darrell Green are in a league of their own. Deion transcended the position.

If he can get double digit interceptions ever year and suck I’ll take him. Gives up too many yards. Really devalues the interceptions. If a qb throws 40 tds in a season then that’s pretty good, but if you throw 30 picks then it’s not really meaningful.

Ramsey broke up 15 passes and Diggs broke up 16 passes. Ramsey was a first round pick and Diggs was a second round pick, add that all up and Diggs is pretty impressive 🤷🏻♂️
@@marcus2271 you are leaving out the fact that Ramsey is a lockdown corner and usually his side of the field doesn’t get thrown to because he is such a threat. It was the same deal with revis. Also there is a pretty significant difference between 560 yards and 860. If ramseys receivers were targeted as much as diggs’, he’d also get 11 picks.
