11-Year-Old Meets Life-Changing Mentor For The First Time IRL

Last year on the show, Kelly met Mr. Freeman, an elementary school teacher in Atlanta who went viral after one of his students dressed up as him for "dress like your favorite author day." That episode inspired Virginia grandmother Denita to reach out to Mr. Freeman in hopes that he could help her grandson Tre break out of his shell before entering middle school. A year later, Tre and Mr. Freeman now share a beautiful mentorship, and today the two meet each other in person for the first time! Watch till the end for a huge surprise to Tre from Pilot Pen.
