I have to admit that my toes start to curl up when anyone says anything remotely critical of him, and I think this holds true for "Dears" around the world, but it's only right that you have more and less favorite parts of Dimash's performances. You're doing a lot to promote him, just by doing the reactions. He's going to do a concert in NY on Dec. 10. Although I live in NY State, I won't be able to attend. Yet I think this concert will make him more available in all of the U.S., and that's what matters to me. That is, I want to see his fame grow, and his message of learning to love each other better, to be kind and to eschew hatefulness. I've noticed that people who love the music, soon come to love the man. If you watch videos of him and his friends and family at home, you see that he has a very sweet nature, so good to his parents and siblings. Babies in that household, when getting rocked to sleep by Dimash, seem to love his rather rousing "lullabies." There are other singers in the family (dad is music composer, producer and director; Mom is a very popular opera singer) and most of the friends who either live there or drop by, are going about practicing, several songs going on at the same time. This is the first song I heard him sing when he was a guest at the Slavik Bazaar after he won the previous year's competition. I believe it was 2016, the year before he competed in 2017 The Singer. He was named then the best voice in the world and made me curious how great of a singer he was. I was looking for his other performances until I heard him competed @ The Singer 2017 in China.
