I've owned a Ducati before and test rode many different models. They're nice when they work but a pain in the ass for maintenance. Everything costs more and it's harder to find parts even when I was still living in America. From my experience everything costs 2-3x more than Japanese bikes. For example my Friend with a Panigale down here in the Visayas had an engine check light show up. They charged 5,000 pesos just to plug in and run a diagnostic on what the code is. BIG LOL. I'm totally fine with my cb650r for now. The torque of a Ducati twin is fun but the howl of an inline4 is addicting.

Well. Pag tinanong mo kahit sino alam nila "Ducati". Pag sinabi mo "big bike" sa non-riders, "Ducati" agad papasok sa isip nila. Sobrang ganda ng branding ng Ducati, and sometimes that alone is enough of a reason to buy one. Plus na lang that you'll be rubbing elbows not with squammies/new upper middle class with zero taste and style but with well-established people who got their shit figured out in life already. People shouldn't pretend with "nah performance habol ko" unless they fucking race for a living.
