Alvin runs 4 London Seminars a year covering various Phases. The grappling element of SBL is used more as a sensitivity exercise, following one's force and applying a counter. In this particular clip he teaches take downs, breaks, chokes and developing lock flow.
You can now come and experience Silat Open Circle in person at one of Alvin's SBL seminar. Seminars are open to the public, martial artist of all levels, both male and female.

good classical silek,reminds me of my own classes back in the day,my own guru had these killer satria sessions,newcomers couldn't walk properly the next day,kuda after kuda,fast pace-killer,styles that don't do satria I think really miss something
I train at Goytia's Martial Arts in Chicago and he's held a few seminars there. I hope he comes around soon! His skills are amazing!
