RESTORING a Vintage Channellock Pliers

With just a stainless steel scouring pad and some vinegar I cleaned up a an pair of Channellock Pliers.

You know those come apart just get some pliers and unscrew it I have cleaned and fixed my old ones and shined them up good they look brand new

My bolt slips when I take it off. Bolt is not captive. How did you remove it?
