Life vest and jack lines when alone on the foredeck - outside cockpit. You accidentally slip with Kieran sleeping, even with the life jacket no one finds you.
I am from Venezuela. We used to be the pearl of the Caribbean now we are the country you stay 100 miles away to avoid pirates. OMG! Thanks for sharing the videos. Hopefully in the not too distant future we will all be able to visit and enjoy the beautiful Venezuelan coast destinations
Hey Alejandro! We’ve heard great great things about the coastline and we really want tot discover it but yes when it’s not recommended by all the cruisers we talk to we generally tend to stay away. We have our fingers crossed we can visit the next time we come around 😊
Playing catch up on your videos, so this is another that I have not watched. Congratulations to your sister! You are an amazing person, and will be a perfect Aunt! Bless you and your family....and Kieran!
How can you guys only have 7000 subscribers. Omg this time next year I see 100000 easy. Great chilled out sailing channel. Lovely couple. See you next time
They don't show all the drudgery and craziness that can happen. Find some other channels that have shown this. SV Delos coming to Madagascar for instance. Attacked by gun pirates off the coast of Yemen for a couple other boats...
Hey there, what a bizar small ammount of diesel used this year. My compliments for making the best of the wind, and not hamering down on the motor❤. I bet she sails a lot better with that silky smooth bottom😁🤘 Regards from us😘
hello guys i am looking forward to your update on little curacao btw your channel name i fine is had no problem remembering it and found it even quicker imma subscribe now safe sailing sincerely the random dutchman
Somebody got baby fever! Man to man brother being a dad is awesome. It's scary as hell diving into those waters but once you hold your kid for the first time you are hooked. Kids and sailboats do work SV Delos, and SV Zatara are just two popular examples. No pressure but I had to put my unsolicited opinion in here. You got plenty of time you are young wild and free but don't let fear hold you back, I mean you cross oceans after all.
Hahaha appreciate those wise words John! We need to get a little more of a stable income coming in before thinking about all that but give us some time and we’ll get there
Hi guys! Wanted to reach out and ask about sailing in Venezuela. Planning to get there very soon, rent a sailboat and travel for a week or so from island to island. Any chance you can share some contacts or ideas to do so? Thanks!!

Hey Tomasmcd. We were told expressively to avoid Venezuelan waters due to piracy. It’s completely up to you but friend.
Can you configurate your AIS so you can see other ships/boats but they can't see you?
I believe you can but I didn’t have the patience to work out how at the time. It’s in the project list!
👍👌💥
my name is Chet, but my friends call me Doc.
Never go that long without adding fuel. I just repaired a boat that had not added fuel in a year and a month. He now has $3,000 less in the bank.
Waaaaaat! Why Doug? Can diesel go bad after only 12 months?
