I love this song. It really feels like going out into the forest with your friends one summer night, with nothing but the starts and moon illuminating your surroundings, and finding something magical.
This is seriously such a nostalgic song for me. I got this game when it first came out when I was 22; I’m 37 now, and I come back to this song sometimes. Listen to it while I work at a credit union, but I’m still a fantasy nerd. This song just pulls me back to mystical times when I was younger, video games, friends, summers in the woods. Love how this is essentially Salikawood but sort a different version. Especially starting at 1:06 is part of the variant. But it fits FFTa2 world so WELL! A lot of the field themes from 12 are present in this game, though slightly variant, and it's great.
The song of the battles with zombies. You know that this game is really a final fantasy when discover that you can use you white mage to exterminate undead enemies.
In Tactics/WotL I liked mathematicians with Holy or something ridiculous while Ramza would be a dual wielding beast of some kind. It goes to show what kinds of cool stuff you can do, even in the older ones. So many combos...
