We were on Koh Mak in 2002/2003… if I were to say to you they were possibly the best months of my life, that would be an understatement… love that place!
After leaving Hua Hin the end of last March and with goons in charge and goons on the street back here in the UK, I've been voluntarily self isolating apart from a couple of shopping expeditions a week. Watching vids like this keeps the dream of returning to the land of smiles very much alive. Big thumbs up on this one D.F. keep up the good work mate.
Best thai island imo. Lovely and rustic and not over developed. The banana sunset bar is the best place for the sunset. Cant wait to go back. Have fun fella and keep the vids coming 😁

To be fair, they do have large mosquito net that are square shaped. Those are the ones that the locals use, they give those ring ones to tourists thinking that it's more fancy.
Hey fella those statues are from the French influence, Koh mak is one of the only sustainable islands in Thailand, I can't remember exactly the power source. Not sure if your still in Koh kood , but if you are get down to the fishing village on the island. Best seafood I've ever eateen. You have good taste following the dees holidays I. Yarrawonga and going to the best two islands in Thailand. If you get a chance get to cosie house. Mr Noy and his daughter are so genuine. Great place to hire a bike from. Sunset bar is awesome too. So jealous the nicest part of Thailand. Cheers for letting me re visit these places. The big Buddha on Koh kood is well worth a look too mate

Hi JS, It all depends what you are looking for. I wanted to get as far away from people as i could. The resort we stayed was secluded and private, it included 5 meals and the food was excellent. I did not want to leave the Resort and next time i won't. It is not a party island that's for sure, Regards DF
Get yourself to Koh Lipe one day, it’s a bit of a trek (from Bangkok that is) of plane, car and speedboat, but the best island I’ve stayed on in Thailand, can’t wait to go back one day. This COVID is doing my head in especially with my girlfriend in Bangkok, haven’t seen her for a year.

I was in Hua Hin, then moved to Chanthaburi, Koh Kood and finally landet in Koh Chang, now for 2 years already. Best place ever !
