- Our second hunt down in Louisiana for the opening weekend of teal season with our buddies at Turnt Up Waterfowl was nothing short of electric! After the burner we had on opening day, we were feeling good going into day two. Although the pace wasn't as fast as day one, the groups were bigger, and the shooting was just as good as the first day! In between swatting mosquitoes and looking out for snakes, we had a ball hammering the blue rockets over 13 dozen F1 Bluewings. Southern Louisiana is the perfect place to start the season and really get us in the mood for some cooler weather. Stay tuned for our trip up north with lower temps and tons of big honkers!

I’ve never understood why you would carry your waterfowl shotgun to the blind, in a gun case?
If your gun doesn’t have a gun strap
And have you ever hunted in Louisiana
If you drop it toting stuff in, it won't get covered in mud. No reason to not protect it.
Thank you finally someone understands me
And where you hunt
My gun case floats. In case we hit a stump or something in the bayou I’d like to be able to find my gun.
