Historic Kittanning - French & Indian War Sites

We visit the historic town of Kittanning, PA, county seat of Armstrong County, where we tour the museum of the Armstrong County Historical Society, including a room devoted to the frontier history of the town site and a key battle in the French & Indian War. Then we introduce you to the Meredith Inn, a wonderful restaurant in a historical house across the road from the stone and bronze monument to that battle before closing with a stop at a little known road-side historical marker about a related skirmish related to the larger Battle of Kittanning.

I was blown away when I visited the museum last summer! All the folks involved did a tremendous job laying each room out, and it's incredible how much history Armstong county has been involved with over the year's. Great choice of music for the video. I especially loved the Coo Coo's nest tune. Wonderful job on the video, and appreciate all the work you folks do on your video's. Thank you!

Interesting video, grew up in slippery Rock Pa and live in Butler pa. Grandparents retirement home isn't far from kittanning. Also love the history this area provides
