- Ortega's Tour Player is exploding with expensive features and yet comes in under five hundred Euro. I have no idea how they pull this off!

I’d love to see you compare this Ortega Tour with the Ibanez Tim Henson TOD10n and the Stage from Cordoba. Any chance you’d be able to do a video like that?
Nylon guitars geared to electric players are actually tons of fun. I’ve tried the TOD10n, and it was really playable and surprisingly versatile. I mostly play rock and metal, but I play a little of everything. The TOD10n is fun to play with distortion kicked on, and it adds a different flavor than a steel string guitar for acoustic cleans. I have seen this Ortega in passing, but I’ve never seen a demo of it. It looks like a great option. I like that the neck on this Ortega appears to have a slimmer nut width like the TOD10n because I’d never be able to play a wide classical neck (the Cordoba Stage has a wider neck). It sounds lovely!
Thanks!
Comparing this to Godin Multiac is courageous. If you have played both I’d be curious to see it’s comparison
The Cordoba Stage has a body sensor wich makes the guitar sound much more natural and acoustic, add some reverb and you are ready to go,only my opinion :)
Thanks for all the great reviews! :)
If I get this it would be my 6th nylon. I really do like the size of it, leave it out of the case grab and play.
Stunning demo song!
Now that's a pretty and sick guitar! Way to go Ortega!
I loved that Monday Night in Hessia reference :)) - a really interesting guitar! By the way Happy new year and all the best Henning!
You are right, my wild guess was €735. Great that you explained how the sound can be optimized ❤
This guitar has no competition. 😮
I like Ortega guitars. Very affordable and good value. I still enjoy their RCE145.
I love my Fishman Aura! It does have both nylon and steel string settings and a blend control for ratio of IR to original sound. Most importantly (to me), absolutely possible to avoid all piezo quack!
Ortega also has the Javier Reyes 8 string signature classical guitar...
I bought this guitar (the black version) it is magnificent and thanks to Ortega for thinking about left-handers on the other hand we can hear all the finger rubbing whereas I didn't have that on the Angel Lopez EC3000CNA (100€ used ) with the same amp.
I'm happy to have found a left-handed elecro-acoustic at a low price (~€450) but this finger problem is a real shame...
ps: sorry, google trad french ----> english
Do you have to engage the volume to about 75% or more to start hearing it?
gorgeus guitar! like the wee bit of Mediterranean Sundance…
Have you looked at the Harley Benton Nashville Nylon NT? Real similar idea to this but solid body so just slightly slimmer still. Although what you're reviewing is much prettier!
Such a pretty guitar.
Dirty wet noodle at the end… soo happy
are you having to put have the volume at atleast 75% to start hearing sound ?
Henning PLEASE get that one camera colour balanced. I thought I found my Spruce (green) guitar, then it and me turned blue.
I think it might be your colour settings. It’s glorious blue on mine Pc and iPad
No, he’s right. The Sony FX6 is slightly off and it can’t be balanced to match the others. No clue how.
Is it confortable to play in sitting position without strap? Looks like the size of a Les Paul... which is not very confortable for me (also becauso of the weight).
I like Ortega guitars, but for me as a classical guitarist narrower fretboards like the one Ortega currently makes are not really suitable. The tour player is a very nice guitar and would be great for recording fingerstyle arrangements with some tone modeling if the fingerboard was at least 50 mm.
Si può suonare la notte senza disturbare i vicini ?
I see this blue guitar but I hear a banjo :)
Man just compared a multiact encore and a Gibson Chet atkins to a $400 guitar I have to buy one for myself to even see
Why? Why not do a decent acoustic and send it with an external mic?.. NOTHING on this planet will ever mask that farty compression of whatever piezo is micing that, not even IR's, if you ever get a good enough IR to mask that, it's good enough to mask a telecaster into an nylonstring. I have acoustics, steel, nylon and 12-strings, I mic'em even though they are electroacoustics. One can barely get away with a bowed instrument, but piezoed guitars are doomed to sound wrong.
Ugh. Playing a classical guitar with a pick is Uber cringe.
"I have no idea, how they got it done."
With underpaid workers and violating the environment.
Glad I could help.
Terrible sound. Clacky and harsh very piëzo sound. Absolutely don’t like. Why not use transducer and mic blend in such a guitar?
Because adding a mic would add cost and wouldn't make this sound any better.
IDK - The Yamaha Silent Guitar sounds pretty good with its blend.@@poison7512
@@poison7512 transducer do not need to be expensive. Better than an under saddle piëzo. A mic blend would up the price of course. This model now simple sounds bloody awful.
I feel that if I leave a comment on a video and @EytschPi42 doesn't ♥my comment I fucked up in some way or another.
