Everyone who does this mission there is a glitch where you start up the mission run to your left and just jump off and then when you respawn you'll be invincible and can't get hit. Credit to atata9 in the comments!
Official Time - 4:49.91. Just do a triple pincer combo to fenrirs and you're gold. In part 2 I used the pincers again with charged combos to break everyone down really fast. In part three triple pincer each fenrir again one at a time. All and all thank you for posting these vids they give me a better idea of how to proceed. TOP NOTCH !!!
I used the pincer blades for all sections here. 3 successful hits will stun the Fenrirs. If you can land 1, then you can land the other 2. Just keep doing that and you're golden. For the human enemies I charged the first attack with the pincer blades and let them walk into it.

Easy? Are you kidding me? These damn missions are difficult xD The Zandatsu, and eliminate all enemies ones are VERY difficult. I can't keep my cool after the nineteenth try.
Did it in 8:10 , found trick is to use Sai to keep attacking Dogs, take first one out easy, straight away use sai to zoom to second dog and smack him around a few times, run and switch to pincers to break down gaurds with swords, take the 2 of them out then pole to take appart hammers while dodging and blocking. finally sai again for last 4 dogs
there is an easier method, use bloodlust, 3 hits to a fenrir will give you the qt input to kill them, also it makes the cyborgs easier to break for a qt input, gives you plenty of time to spare for the last part of the stage

Murasama Strength -3.5 Absorption -3.0 Consumption -0.6 +10% speed increase Long sword Strength -3.5 Absorption -1.3 Consumption -0.7 Longer range;-10% Speed decrease Fox blade Strength -4.0 Absorption -3.0 Consumption -0.4 Has a 20% chance to instantly cut unarmored or break armored foes. Upgrade it once and it goes to 50%.(Kills any non boss enemy in 1-2 hits.)

The challenge of this game; from very hard, to revengeance, to VR, to jetstream. It's game for Perfectionist's, simply put... I gave up on revengeance and on vr. I just don't have it so, I'll wait and hopefully find someone who will help me get them.
yea i agree with you on the fox blade being what you earn from getting gold n all of this, but PG's always makes there games ridiculously and and had crazy challenges it was something i was already expecting....i just wanna know if this long sword is worth it lol
Seems like nobody knows the trick. Just fall of the structure at the begining and you'll be in god mode, al least in ps3. I did it in 5:38 just spaming square(x in xbox)

These missions are disappointing. I have no problem with something being hard, but being hard not by the enemies, but by being forced to use an un-upgraded default weapon fighting enemies on very hard difficulty, for a weapon that is already outclassed by the time you get it. They should have made the long sword a pre-order and the fox blade the weapon you get for getting all the bast times. That would make things worth while.

I agree with mathew the fox blade is bad ass it should have been the reward for the vr mossions

I would hire professionals to do these VR Missions to send me a copy of the saved Memory Data to make it easier to unlock the Armor and HF Sword

Btw do you keep performing blade mode as some kind of cancel for Stormbringer or do you just keep checking so you can Zandatsu as soon as possible

VR mission 18 was tougher
This guy is really good but his strategies are incredibly bad.
I bet he doesn't even think of a proper strategy and just roll with whatever happens.
I eliminated everyone with zandatsu and the mission didn't end and it screwed me over. Fml -__-
