I love her raspy voice so muchhhh. Im so happy that she had this opportunity, she's the least exposed in vocals in NMIXX so people usually underestimates her 🥺
I feel like Jiwoo gets overlooked by people since she's the Main Rapper, her and Kyujin's parts are similar at times and some fans have been very cruel to her about her body. So its nice to see her personality shine along with her singing ability. It's also great how she said she doesn't hold grudges but brought up Bae or mimicked Bae's responses as cute little jabs. Made the whole interview feel more casual and relaxed since she was teasing him most of the episode.
Fr. Jiwoo and Lily are probably the most ridiculously hated members in the group and it's just horrible to see that when they're so talented and have beautiful personalities.

To me, it's a shame Jiwoo DID lose weight because I liked her 2022 figure, plus it reinforces the toxic idea she needed to at all. I do worry she may now be TOO thin and it could start affecting her muscles. It's not healthy to have lost as much weight as she has unless she has a good diet to go along with it, and we all know she doesn't eat vegetables.

Well, East Asian countries in general are known for being racist, especially Korea (the North is even worse), so mixed-race people get it really bad there. Twice's Jihyo was bullied as a kid just because they THOUGHT she was mixed. She isn't. (plus, like Jiwoo, Jihyo also got body-shamed at debut)
i was not expecting her to sound like that but Jiwoo's voice is really pleasing youthful and unique !! i especially loved the DUET Service !!! it was so groovy and both of them singing made my mind blow up
I hope Jiwoo had more opportunities to showcase her skills like this. Jiwoo seemed genuinely grateful with the compliments she received from lee mujin!

Wow, this duet is my new favorite among the Nmix members and among the other episodes I've watched. Mujin is an amazing singer and his vocals and jiwoo's fit so well on the song

개인적으로 엔믹스에서 설윤이랑 지우가 제일 예쁘다 생각하는데... 지우 랩만 쫄깃하게 잘하는 게 아니라 노래 자체를 쫄깃하게 잘한다👍🏻👍🏻 음색도 정말 매력 있고, 이무진님 말대로 툭툭 내뱉듯이 노래하지만 기본기가 탄탄한 게 느껴지고ㅎㅎㅎ 처음부터 끝까지 입틀막하면서 들었다... 나중에 지우 보컬 살리는 곡도 꼭 들어보고 싶다🩷🩷
This is a side of Jiwoo that we rarely see. The fragility in her upper register and falsetto adds so much dynamics to her voice. It sounds like it's about to break, but then she pulls it back in a very relaxed and chill manner which makes it seem like her sound identity. Also, her lower register is so clean, she can make it powerful if she wants to. But in these performances her lower registers hang in between a whisper and chest voice, it's airy almost like a whisper but then she manages to add a little chest voice so that it doesn't lose body and volume. Jiwoo may not have as wide of a vocal range as the other NMIXX members, but whatever range she does have, she has mastered it to perfection. Her vocal technique is flawless, she knows what she has and she knows how to work with it. Her intonation and just the little vocal styling she adds in between phrases is so tastefully done. She makes the right choices musically and doesn't over do them. You can tell how much she loves and enjoys singing. She doesn't sing because it's her job, she sings because she loves it.
That's a nice analysis of Jjyu's vocals. What she lacks in range she makes up for in technique, something Lily spoke about during a livestream. While K-pop producers usually hyper-fixate on being able to sing high (which Lily can), she pointed out there's a lot more to singing than just being able to go high. Jiwoo can't hit Lily's highs or Sullyoon's lows but the girl has a lovely timbre -- a bit of lilt and rasp -- which is unique in a K-Idol and lends itself especially well to rap and alternative stuff.
@@Soufriere84 oh well hello again 😁. Yes I do agree with you, I find it very baffling, how obsessed KPOP fans are with belting and being able to sing in the higher range. When belting literally only accounts to a small part of singing. Belting without proper vocal technique is simply just yelling. You are also right 👍. Jiwoo has got to have the most unique timbre in an artist I've heard in a very long while. Pair her unique timbre with proper vocal technique, and what you get is a special once in a decade vocalist. Not to mention that just like other NMIXX members, stagnation is never an issue. All the members continue to improve and hone their skills. This is why I love NMIXX because they stay humble and grounded, which drives them to continue growing as artists.
Because of Mujin’s detailed comments about her voice in DASH, I am now able to fully appreciate the flair and style of Jiwoo’s voice. I always knew her voice had this nice husky quality, but I never thought about how big of a difference it makes. Seeing Mujin attempt the Jiwoo’s lines in Dash was eye-opening since he doesn’t have that natural huskiness in his voice.

Lee Mujin describe Jiwoo's vocal perfectly~ Like it sounds lazy and hazy almost soulless, but thats the charm. Still , Jiwoo really didn't go all out with her vocal. I didn't see a single strain of vein on her neck which mean she is totally chillin 😂😂
In my opinion, the person who brings the see that vibe is Jiwoo, she is really suitable to be the greatest member, beautiful, good at rapping, everything in general.

Jiwoo can't hit Lily's highs or Sullyoon's lows but the girl has a lovely timbre -- a bit of lilt and rasp -- which is unique in a K-Idol and lends itself especially well to rap and alternative stuff.
@@Soufriere84 oh well hello again 😁. Yes I do agree with you, I find it very baffling, how obsessed KPOP fans are with belting and being able to sing in the higher range. When belting literally only accounts to a small part of singing. Belting without proper vocal technique is simply just yelling. You are also right 👍. Jiwoo has got to have the most unique timbre in an artist I've heard in a very long while. Pair her unique timbre with proper vocal technique, and what you get is a special once in a decade vocalist. Not to mention that just like other NMIXX members, stagnation is never an issue. All the members continue to improve and hone their skills. This is why I love NMIXX because they stay humble and grounded, which drives them to continue growing as artists.

Because of Mujin’s detailed comments about her voice in DASH, I am now able to fully appreciate the flair and style of Jiwoo’s voice. I always knew her voice had this nice husky quality, but I never thought about how big of a difference it makes. Seeing Mujin attempt the Jiwoo’s lines in Dash was eye-opening since he doesn’t have that natural huskiness in his voice.
