Getting lost on Mount Mirna at 3000 ft. above sea level

Mount Mirna is not the highest point of White Carniola Region in Slovenia, but it is the most easily accessible and most popular. There are so many routes with good directions, surely one cannot get lost there... or can they?

Wow, sounds intriguing! Can you tell us more about TISOČAK in Bele Krajine? What made this hike special and how did you end up getting lost? Any tips for future hikers?

This hike was special because of the company and because it is in an area, where people don't really go hiking much, it is not that well known. And we got lost because there wasn't enough marks in the area, so we went into the woods instead of staying on the road.
As for tips - try not to get lost 😅 and if you do get lost, just keep climbing up the hill and eventually you'll find it along with directions how to find a better way back.
