@@ChrisHeckmanWhen you make 100 design you run ads for all the design (bulk) like Amazon or each separately, and what it's your favorite ad from on social media (single image, slide , video 📷)
I have watched your 21 hour long video and its definitely a masterpice, but after that i wached some other videoa too where it was told that we shpuld not focus on tshirts as they are very saturated and have less margins rather we should sell car seat covers, snakers etc where the profit margins are higher.. I am just a beginner and i am confused , please guide me what should be my pod product and why??
Chris, thanks for confirming that this is a numbers game, among other things. There are those who say that it's quality over quantity. With a niched POD t-shirt Shopify store, Is it better to stick with just shirts and not expand if you become successful with some designs, i.e., with coffee mugs, notebooks, etc.? I know that is not something you do, but I would like to know more about that. Thanks!
Great question - 100% recommend starting with just one product type and only add others once you are doing consistent monthly sales. (for us it's at least $30-$50K/month)
Reason: You can build a multi-seven figure a year business off of just t-shirts and adding new products isn't the thing that will get a store to profitability, adding new designs will.
@@ChrisHeckman Wow, I'm beginning to understand. :) T-shirts it is, I guess! If I could ask -- as far as a niche (ugh) if, for example, I decided on French Bulldogs, could I still do different types of designs and styles in categories or sub-niches? I guess I can't see having thousands of designs just for "French Bulldog Moms." Am I wrong? I do want to begin your 21-hr. course! Thanks!
@@elizabethg7806 ofc you can 😁. Do sub-niche like your life depends on it... For example, you can make french bulldog theme t-shirts for jobs, like teachers, nurses, or family members like mom dad granny grandpa sister etc etc... You also can make french bulldog shirts for birthdays, anniversaries, and you also can make it for seasonal events, like easter christmas 4th of july etc, etc... Just keep up the work, dont afraid of failing, and in time you will get results I guarantee... The MOST IMPORTANTLY thing Will be the marketing, you using for your shirts anyway ❤
Would it be a bad idea to start a one store brand Like CrazyTees, to test or swap out different niches ideas before setting up a domain / brand dedicated to one niche?
Shimmy said if you're selling on Etsy, then the niche doesn't matter. It's just a numbers' game and you just have to make plenty of good designs in all well known niches. How correct was he?
Etsy is basically more like a dropshipping platform, whereas this video is about print on demand, so yeah, in case of dropshipping, he was right but in case of print on demand you should definitely listen to chris.
I know you said we should have at least 100 designs, but is it okay to launch a brand with 250+ designs? Or should we pick 100, advertise, see what's best and then add the rest?
I created a shopify print on demand store selling only tshirt and sweatshirts, but with different type of collections : funny collection, book lovers collections, halloween collection and so on, so I don't know if I should use a niche based on the type of products(tshirts) or based on themes (designs only about books or only about coffee..) I m confused 😢
Hi, i am student and want to start print on demand but i am afraid to not have enough time for print on demand due to having to study. Can you tell an estimate time I would have to set appart for print on demand if I joined wescale university??
I also recommend the 21 course, it took me about a week to slowly get through it, but it's the most insightful, no bs course. that is waaaayy more informative than like 90% of the other POD youtube gurus.
Awesome and insightful. Love the data point that the top 1% make 7 designs a day. Crazy but yeah
yup, I like it cause it gives us a tangible input we can easily work towards
Thank you for this simple concept!
How much ad spend do you typically start with on a new design?
We make 100 designs and then test with $100 - $200 on ads

How does someone think of "2600 designs per year"? Does that mean 2600 unique designs, or just iterations of similar designs?

Anyone saying t-shirts are saturated is basing that off of anecdotal evidence.
Every person on earth owns a dozen t-shirts.

How many designs do we need to stand out per niche?
Would it be a bad idea to start a one store brand Like CrazyTees, to test or swap out different niches ideas before setting up a domain / brand dedicated to one niche?
If you've that kind of money, then no, but otherwise, yes, it's a bad idea.

How much do you pay your VA per design?
Since it is Shopify stores, it is 7 different designs or 7 products uploaded a day?
Both cuz I product for 1 design

Am I wasting time if I take the best tshirts from etsy from a niche and pays someone on fiverr that mimicks those designs?
No
Nah, you're "taking inspiration" 😉
Try the mindset, look at those designs and make even better ones!
Nice Video but you need to improve your Thumbnail
