RC student pilot flies my Riser 100 glider

- I invited my friend Ronald to be a student pilot with my RC glider Riser 100, nice weather and beautiful place for flying in Howth, Dublin. The wind was in the right direction but then for few minutes started to slow down, then it was really windy and hard for this glider so it was very difficult to control and you can only imagine how hard it was for Ronald as a beginner to maintain control of the glider. This activity is called slope soaring where you only use the ridge lift caused by the wind, that's why the cliffs were perfect for this flying.
Ronald is a gamer, if you're interested you can follow him at:

La Emoción de tu Amigo por Volar Motiva a cualquiera a Volar y seguir en el Hobby Gracias Joy Saludos desde Cali,Colombia.
Cool ridge soaring flight! Beautiful location to catch the wind - I like the map graphics at the beginning to explain the lift.
Wow ! ... Thanks for sharing that flight ... truly a beautiful sight . I learned to fly on a very similar plane with a motor mounted on the nose.
Lucky for have an instructor. Most of us lurn by our oun balls and destructions.
THE HYPE WAS REAL! I really loved sharing with you this time. It was extremely complex but WE DID IT! We should do it again with a more friendly wind.
Sure, let's do it again sometime soon. I never get tired of that.
very challenging conditions for a beginner with such a floater - great site though!!! well done for trying and for getting her down safetly, thanks for sharing.
It was crazy complicated but he is an excellent teacher. He is a PRO, I wanna do it again with friendly wind!
To bring it down quickly, do a loop. Pull up, it loses air speed, go into a dive. Repeat until you get low enough.
Oh 😊😊👍👏
ok , you need me , i could have walked upright to retrieve that glider.
Free Solo!
Nice site to fly. Slope Landings, always exciting!
That was so awesome.....Good flying guys despite strong winds.
Well done !
Thanks!
I was expecting a bigger crash based on the title. Good job!
Bravo enjoyed the build. And flight next build rizer 100 hello from Memphis Tennessee 😇
Nice flying both of you!
Beautiful soaring site. What a shame it's so difficult to travel with a decent sized glider. Would love to visit Dublin and fly there.
Aunque no hablo muy bien inglés vine a ver el vídeo, que gran video hiciste con tu amigo.
nice place////nice flying
Joyvel....hijo, refulgente vídeo......no sabes lo que me lleno ese vídeo hoy día.....me siento feliz de que seas feliz, un abrazo de hojas de elefante y un beso de cabras saltando en júpiter
When you put a camera on the wingtip do you need to add counter weight on the other wing
what do you recommend to get started? with which plane, transmitter, etc., for who is preparing to fly for the first time?
I would love to have such a beautiful place for soaring!
One could almost literally see the backflowing wind on top of the ridge during landing. Considering these windconditions in high wind you really need a speed glider, with less camber in the wing, more symmetric profile. Of course in low wind conditions that isn’t ideal, but slope gliding is completely different than seeking thermal conditions on a flat terrain.
So cool Brother.. hi from usa 👍🇺🇸
I fly only sig planes . I used to have the risor 78" 2 metter for years.. great bird.. if you get to high. just spin glider to get it down. like snap rollung it.. hours of fun
. just give full left and full up elavator. will make it spin. fun way to get it down. when want to stop just let go of sticks..
What camera do you have mounted on the wing?
Is a racing drone camera capable of recording in HD.
👍👍👍👏👏
Joy good video I would like have a planeador
To have a glider*
100, maybe even 200 grams of ballast would have made it easier to fly in those conditions.
Yes!
You inspired me to start my own UA-cam channel! Check it out at The Orange Baron. Thank you so much and keep up the great content!
