I did almost the exact same thing with my 2013 WK2 but used dual 18" Flow-Pro's into one pipe out to an 11.5 inch stainless steel generic glasspack then to a 5 inch tip. Sounds slightly more compact but that 5" tip makes all the difference. Deeper sound and no droning.

Its gonna be a lot of drone. There isn't any resonator. The mid section was the resonator, and the rear is the muffler. Since he took the resonator off, id expect droning between 60-80mph.
Roger Lee I went ahead and bit the bullet and there is almost zero drone. At 2,000 rpm is just cruises and sounds great! At 3,000 is probably the loudest point. I went with two Aero Exhaust resonators into a single out with a 4” tip

hey i ve been watching you guys on youtube for a very long time and i love all your works .I recently saw that you installed flow master outlaws on jeep cherokee 3.6L so i decided to upgrade my exhaust system on my chrysler 300c 3.5L ( it's an EU version of 300c it slightly differst from USA) anyway so i decided to convert my exhaust system from single exhaust into dual with adding x pipe 2.5 tubes all over and 2 FM outlaws with straight pipe as you guys mostly do on your youtube vids! I live in EU in the area with a lack of professionals , if i could i would come to you so i would not have this issue . so after upgrading i love the sound at idle and before 2500 rpms but it seems the car lost power significantly, sure thing 3.5L is not a muscle car but still it's pretty good it moved when i had stock exhaust . Also if you compare the jeep cherrokke 3.6L with two outlaws and my 300c 3.5L , mine has a obnoxious sound when it hits the range between 2500-6000 rpms and drone it's not that bad! wish i could come and fix that at your shop but still if you advised where to dig i would more than grateful ! If your losing power then you don't have enough back pressure! Choose a different muffler if plan to keep duals. The outlaws are a race style straight through muff/glass. If you want to keep the outlaws you'll prolly have use smaller dia pipe or a single exit exhaust.

I want to do that too but cut the half circle out of the driver side lower bumper and do dual pipes! Single pipe flows is just weird to me lol I had a trans am with dual flow master pipes back in the early 2000’s.

(And different rear valence lol) Only way you'd loose power is if an amateur did the work who doesn't know how cross and H pipes worke.

Not bad. Higher RPM’s are obviously the loudest but it doesn’t really sound too loud. I can hear the tread of my tires making noise on the Hwy over the mufflers.
Buy 2 flowmaster outlaws, take it to a shop and have them do a muffler and resonator delete. Have them put the outlaws in place of the muffler like in the video. Get rid of the stock pipe and straight pipe it with 3 inch pipe. Finally, post a video. It's about 200 for 2 outlaws plust the exhaust tips, those vary in price, plus whatever they charge you at the muffler shop.

No need for a y pipe if you have dual exhaust. Unless you want to make it a single pipe. But you would need 2 mufflers. Here's the muffler Flowmaster 15430 Outlaw Race Muffler. I suggest using 3 inch exhaust pipe. They use aliminized steel, cheap and long lasting. No brand.

I get no pops:/ but i bought a daytona 392 and did a muffler delete and resonator delete and now im happy😂 still have the jeep though

If you do get the mufflers done, I would recommend you get a K&N filter. It makes it sound so much better.
